Third time for us there - parents, two teenagers and two large dogs. Said it before - its so good that im tempted not to review in case it gets TOO popular- but better angels won. Beautifully designed, near to everything, dog and people friendly - plus this time we hung out on roof and used Montreal Beach club. We love this place. Going back soon!

Hi Jane! Thank you so much for choosing the Boarding House! We're so grateful that you have entrusted us with your family vacations to Cape May, and it means the world to us that your entire crew has had a great time while staying with us (pups included!). We certainly understand your reluctance to share this review, but we thank you for letting the cat out of the bag! Or should we say... letting the dog out of the bag? (We couldn't resist.) We're so happy that you got to enjoy the Montreal Beach Club and the rooftop during your recent visit, as well! We look forward to seeing you all again soon for your next stay! Best wishes, The Boarding House Crew

It was our 1st time to stay away from the boardwalk and this hotel is beautiful and very clean. Fairly new hotel so everything looks so new. We have a puppy who was happy to stay at this hotel too. Our puppy is hypoallergenic and we did not smell any other pet mark inside our room. It exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness, easy check-in and check-out and great service! Janine was very helpful with all our questions. Location was very close by to Cape May boardwalk. Anf there are other beaches within 5 to minute-drive. Will definitely come back!

The hotel well exceeded our expectations. Conventionally located with parking. We enjoyed the happy hour with drinks on the roof. Went to the Montreal for the beach access where two chairs and a umbrella were set up for us to sit and enjoy. Went to Harry's for a few cocktails and lunch. The bed was so incredibly comfortable that I need to find out what mattress they have in the room. Will definitely recommend the Boarding House to anyone and will be looking forward to our next visit back!

Firs time staying here but we're Cape May regulars. We loved the modern design, CLEAN rooms, rooftop deck. The bed was comfy, the shower was nice. The toilet has the most powerful flush I've ever seen! The place is dog friendly and although we have dogs, we don't travel with them. There were a few guests with pups but they were quiet, never a bother. The parking lot is a little small but our Honda Civic fit just fine. If you drive a truck or large SUV, it may be a slight issue but there's street parking if needed. Our one minor gripe is the lack of supportive pillows. The bed is equipped with at least 6 mushy pillows which offer no support whatsoever. We actual brought this to management and they agreed so it may change. Overall, an awesome place and stay and would recommend to anyone. It's not on the beach but CM is a small town so everything is close. The price is a little high but we're not into Victorian B&Bs and we love boutique hotels so it was a no brainer. The price does include beach tags for your entire stay along with towels, chairs and beach umbrella so that was nice too. Bottom line as always, we would stay again.
