This was our second time staying at the inn, the owners Michael and Carol have done the place up perfectly, you can feel the thoughtfulness and comfort they put in when creating this beautiful B and B. Rooms are comfortable, and cozy, common areas are delightful. Hot tub in back yard, along with a fire pit and chairs, and the view of Mt. Washington is breathtaking. Carol cooks a Michelin type breakfast every morning to order and Michael serves it up along with pleasant conversation. We will be returning again!! Mike and Michelle
My girlfriend and I visited this wonderful cabin for 2 nights we got the wild turkey room. The owners were very welcoming from the second we arrived the place is very well taken care of and the room was gorgeous with a full jacuzzi tub! Very rustic feeling however you didn’t feel like you were really roughing it. The breakfast that was served was to die for!!! And they even put out fresh baked cookies for all who stayed. 10/10 will go again
We were in New Hampshire in October for a 'leaf peeping' experience. One look at this lodge, and we knew we had to stay here. The lodge is amazingly beautiful. The owners, Michael and Carol, are very personable. Carol prepared the breakfasts, which were all very good. One morning she even prepared individual souffles. We enjoyed breakfast next to the huge windows with nice views. The location is convenient to many activities and sights. Local town is quaint. We woke up one morning to about 5 inches of snow (very unseasonable), which caused a power outage. They had installed emergency lights in the bathrooms, which was helpful. Breakfast was prepared and available without a hiccup! There is only one negative remark I can make: we stayed in the Angler Room, which is on the first floor and someone was in the room above us keeping me awake walking the room in the middle of the night (for 3 nights). So, if noises bother your sleeping, I recommend staying in the rooms on the 2nd floor, even though they aren't surrounded with all the gorgeous wood logs.…
Adirondack style craftsmanship situated on a picturesque Mountain View setting made for the perfect weekend away. Our party of 4 enjoyed the trip from the moment we stepped in the gorgeous front door and took off our shoes! Every request- from restaurant recommendations to an extra blanket - were speedily attended to with a smile. One night was spent sipping wine ( BYOB) by the fire pit under the stars. A second night at a wonderful and nearby Italian restaurant and scrabble by the wood stove! An outdoorsman’s dream with hiking nearby ( even a short hike on property!) We can’t wait to return.
While we haven’t been to many B&Bs, this place has to be one of the best. The home and rooms are gorgeous, the owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing both days we were there. We really appreciated the homemade candies and chocolate chip cookies, and having coffee, sodas, and waters available during the day. We even had a refrigerator in our room. Loved this place all around and highly recommend.
