My husband and I stayed here 2 nights to go leaf peeping in White Mountains NP. The family that has owned this place for decades are super friendly and helpful.(we left a pillow from home with extremely sentimental pillow case and they are mailing to us) Great recommendations for restaurants in area. Our cabin was very clean and cozy. Everything we needed in kitchen-full frig, coffee pot and wine opener! We loved having a fire in the room and he was pleased with the tv. I adored walking around the property-the pictures are from the area around our cabin. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to New Hampshire. Note: my 6’4” husband was challenged in the small bathroom but he said it was worth the happiness this adorable cottage gave me!

Excellent stop. Great little cottage that was fun, and kind of made you think you were in a fairy tale. My wife and I bought a log for the fire place and enjoyed listening to the crackle. Very cozy, great bed, good wifi, just a top notch classy place that you can not go wrong. Wished I owned this group of cottages. Very unique and fun experience.

Rented one of the cabins with a friend for a weekend. It was immaculate. While interior is nothing fancy but it’s all you need for a cozy getaway. Beautiful working fireplace, small kitchenette (fridge, sink, microwave, coffee pot, utensil), two full size beds, small table. Only problem is no room for second car.

I had stumbled across the Hearthside Cottages when researching places to stay on our recent New England Road Trip. I was smitted at first sight, and promply booked cabin#17 for two nights. This made an excellent base as we were going on two nearby railroads; the Conway Secnic Railway and the Mount Washington Cog Railroad. These rustic cabins exceeded my expectations in comfort, cleaniness and I loved having a fire in my fireplace both evenings.

If you are a traveler who prefers the unusual and unique you must stay here. We each have our little house and we each, for a time live in the 1940s or 50s. Everything is very clean and the owners very .accomadating. unlike the 40s, 50s and 60s there are flat screen TV and internet.
