My hotel room @ the Platinum was burglarized by a Platinum hotel employee (NICK). He still works for them as of today. Nick is a Caucasian male, oranged haired beard with forearm tattoos on both arms no taller than 5'7". They told me there was nothing that they could do and felt as if the hotel or anyone besides me was responsible for the burglary. Mind you, with the "help" of the manager and the security personnel, we closed the same hotel door several different ways and the door latched every time. Only by slowly guiding the door to close quietly with a foot, did the door not latch. My girlfriend, heard someone in the room later on that evening Nick was placing a small flat item that was able to sit in the latch lock part of the door and rendering the door from locking even if it swings closed it still can be pushed open. They say they have a alarm system that gives them an alert after 3 minutes when any door on the property isn't closed correctly. Well they saw my room in the system giving this alarm they didn't call me personally or my room to see if everything was ok. SECURITY didn't take the initiative to send someone to my room to check to see why the alarm was on. They completely ignored all red flags! The treatment that I received and are continuing to receive is completely unacceptable for a property such as this. I still have not received a call from Brittany who is supposed to be giving me more info on who accessed my room. I will NEVER stay @ the Platinum again!

My son's hotel room at the Platinum was burglarized by an employee or someone else with the help of an employee the weekend of his 30th birthday and his first time in Vegas. They told my son and I there was nothing that they could do because of all the doors in the hotel, his was the only room that wasn't closed properly. Mind you, in front of the manager and the seurity personnel, we closed the the door several different ways and the door latched every time. Only by slowly guiding the door to close quietly with a foot, did the door not latch. The room doors are incredibly heavy so that when the door is opened, it closes and latches automatically. A few hours before the theft occurred, one of the employees complimented my son on his shoes and coincidentally, his clothing was taken. Ny son's girlfriend, heard someone in the room later on that evening The manager Brittany, was the most non-helpful manager I've ever seen. The treatment that my son and I received and are continuing to receive is completely unacceptable for a property such as this. I still have not received a call back from the gm, mark Fenton and the LV police seem to be just as incompetent and just as han the hotel employees. We will NEVER use this hotel EVER again.

Really more like a Condo One bedroom apartment. Staff was very nice, all rooms had terrace. Huge apartment, full kitchen, stainless appliances. Clean and confortable. It is 2 long blocks from the strip, whether that’s good or bad for you. Vegas seems a little seedy everywhere, so don’t know what to say. Free indoor parking lot was a plus. Pool was nice. No real restaurant inside, but the Tuscan next door, which I would try next time for a stay, was beautiful, clean, Marilyn car great breakfast. I think the hotel rates are crazy cheap, but didn’t see the rooms. Nice pool, and small casino, bar. Both places seem great

I stayed here because it was the host hotel for the Revel Canyon Mt. Charleston Marathon that I ran on 4/2/22. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The service was excellent and we received a free bottle of wine upon arrival (that I couldn't drink pre-race). It had a full kitchen with a separate living area. The bed was comfortable enough and it had a soaker tub with a separate shower. The bathroom counters were large enough to hold all of my toiletries. We had a problem with the AC (it was user error) and after calling the front desk, a service man was at our door within 5 minutes. This is a non-gaming, no frills hotel and it's close to the strip and convenience stores within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again over most of the strip hotels. It could use a little updating, but had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.

Located just a quick two blocks off the strip, the Platinum is a perfect place to for both short and long term stays in Las Vegas. The check in process was painless and with a very friendly front desk staff. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch as well. The room was a one bedroom, with a large living room, full kitchen and a very nice bathroom. The in-suite laundry was a great bonus and well used. The wifi worked great and the workspace provided a great space to get some daily work done. Used the kitchen a few times during my stay, the provided full set of cookware made making meals easy and the dishwasher made for a easy clean up. The balcony offered a amazing strip view as well as a place to enjoy a coffee in the morning or a cocktail after a long day. I did venture to the Tuscany Suites & Casinos as well as the Ellis Island Casino which are located next door for some take out during my stay. There was also a 7-11 and mini market located steps away from the front door. It was nice staying at a non gaming property but still being within a 10 minute walk from the strip. Highly recommend this hotel.
