We walked quiet country lanes, to a picturesque setting. The waitresses were very friendly. Starter of squid was excellent. Great roast dinners. Vegetables well cooked It was a sunny afternoon, so sitting outside was a good option. Popular destination, well deserved.

This is not a high end resort. It feels like a mall. It’s loud and the common spaces are pedestrian and mundane. The marketing gives the impression this is a chic and sexy place. It is not. The party pool, The Boulevard pool, is not chic at all. It’s Jersey Shore. The oasis pool, The Chelsea pool, is not an oasis at all. It’s just a nice Marriott pool. Most of the dining is in a center court area which is again just a really nice “mall” experience along with all the noise akin to hangin out with your middle school kids at the local mall. There are some nice restaurants tucked away and quiet such as Scarpetta and Beauty and Essex. If the rest of the place was like those restaurants in quality and service, then the place would be a great resort. But, the rest of the place is so bad and oversold that those great restaurants could never be enough reason to stay there. Another horrible thing is that if you shop in the place, you cannot simply charge the room. You have to use your credit card and they tell you to take your receipt down to the “Identity Points” desk and you can get credits towards stays and other amenities on property. So, I can stay at a place that simply lets me handle it all on one bill or I can schelp two and three floors away to stand in line to show my receipts to get into the Marriott marketing machine. I cannot imagine a high end resort where my resort card isn’t all I need for the entirety of my stay. As for the chic upscale clientele in the ads, forget that. Looked like a bunch of folks headed to an amusement park for the day. Lots of bad t-shirts, shorts and flip flops just meandering around. If you want a modern upscale feel, walk across the road to Aria. If you want a more traditional formal resort feel, The Wynn/Encore. But, if you want overpriced and overmarketed for its delivery, The Cosmo might just be the place for you. I sure hope you’d want more for your money and head someplace else.

I spent 4 nights here in July 2021, and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Although the hotel and rooms look nice at first glance, the gloss wears off almost immediately. This is a really badly run hotel and you won't do much worse for cleanliness or service in Las Vegas. There are many nice places to stay in Vegas, but this is not one of them. When I checked into my room (an expensive suite on a high floor), the bathroom was dirty, with someone's (not mine) long black hair on the bathroom floor, it had no toilet paper, and was in disrepair. The hotel staff said they would remedy the situation by cleaning and repairing, but despite my repeated calls, no one ever showed up and it took them 48 hours to clean the room, so I tiptoed across the dirty bathroom floor for a couple of days. If you want to stay here, I recommend your bring your own toilet paper, since it apparently does not come with the room. Also, there was loud outdoor music coming from one of the hotel levels that literally caused my room to shake until 4 a.m. Las Vegas can be a fun place, but trust me, you'll have a much better time if you stay at a hotel other than the Cosmopolitan.

Fantastic resort overall. Maybe the best on the strip. Great restaurants, casino and overall vibe as well. Pretty disappointed in customer service to say the least. My wife literally touched a used condom when reaching under the bed to get her charger, 3 days into our trip. The only explanation has to be that not only was the room not adequately cleaned, but the sheets were not changed. I have spoken with two managers, and they have zero interest in making this situation better. We will not be back, and that is a shame. Very disheartening experience.
