I never actually got to stay there. I tried to call before the trip and received a message saying the voice mailbox was full. I went to the "motel", it had an open and vacancy sign lit, but nobody around. Rang the bell and nothing. I finally walked to the back and found a gentleman emptying trash that said the new owner will only rent rooms on a weekly or monthly basis. This really should be re categorized as a long term rental and not a motel. The owner could save themselves and others slot of wasted time by recording a phone message with their new policies and posting a sign at the office.

Loved my stay at The Mill House Inn Motel. It sits a little off the main road and the sign is not real obvious. The room was large and very clean. We had a king bed which was comfortable, nice little desk, table and 2 chairs, good sized T.V. with plenty of channels, had a homey feel to it. It was quiet and relaxing after a long days drive. The court yard was well maintained and felt park like. It did not have coffee maker but coffee was available in the office. It lacked microwave and mini fridge but is a short drive to restaurants. It is owner/ operated and their pride in ownership shows. I will be staying here every time I pass through Carson City in the future.

My go to in Carson. Very clean, quaint. Perfect place to lay your head for a good rest. Long time owners, always very friendly. Right off the hwy, close to downtown shopping and dining. Been going here for well over 30 years as I drive thru and need to rest.

It's our first stay here. We were told that it was very clean, and they were right. It lacks amenities like: a fridge, a microwave; shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The property definitely needs some upgrades like: a new roof, new curtains which have shown a lot of wear and tear. The bedspread is from the 60's maybe. On the bright side, the owners are great and very friendly. There is very little street noise despite the single pane aluminum windows. I would recommend a guest barbecue. We were not allowed to use the owners and had to bring a small bbq that someone from our group brought. The lack of a fridge was very inconvenient. However, the grounds are impeccable and very bright.

Only for one night and this place met my requirements; can park next to the door, clean, no pets, and cheap. Added bonus was super clean room with great smelling soap (no shampoo), very quiet, nice walk-in shower with good water pressure and lots of warm water. The queen bed was fine and the noisy gas heater did not keep me awake (I suggest the room with the electric heater). Overall it was an excellent value for the money ($70 for one queen or $85 for two queens). I would stay here again.

After spending 4 hours waiting on 395 for a tow truck, my Service Dog and I were stranded alone in Carson City, 6 hours from home. The proprietor refused to rent us a room because of my Service Dog. I explained he was not a pet and I require him because of my disability as well as providing a card that explained ADA law and was told that people who “might have allergies “ were more important and to “ go down the road and find someplace they allow pets”. I was too devastated already to stand up for my rights and told her I would go elsewhere but would be filing a complaint with the DOJ and was told “go ahead”. Living with a disability is difficult enough, I didn’t need to be diminished for it

Older motel in Carson. Remolded, very clean, remolded place. Drive right to your door, no lobbies, elevators or casinos to drag your luggage through. Nice pool and park area. Clean room and grounds. Plenty of places to eat nearby. My kind of place!

We stayed here because the review were good. It didn’t disappoint. Rooms were clean, large, and the bed was comfy. The owners were so nice. We will defiantly stay here again. Great location—pool was closed, but probably too chilly to swim.

Located on the Main Street entering or leaving Carson City from the 395. This 1960s Motel is a fantastic facility. Mom and Pop owned. Faculty is meticulously maintained. Paving is new, grass is green and manicured. The pool is in the middle of the drive area and is dated but very nice. This property brought back fond memories of traveling with my parents in the 1960's. Big rooms and comfortable beds. Excellent wifi and hot coffee in the office. This will be my go to location whenever I'm in Carson City. Outstanding value and wonderful owners. If you are looking for an old school motel that has kept its charm this is the spot to stay. Which I could have stayed longer!!!
