I understand that this hotel is pretty cheap so for someone who wants all the frills, this wouldn't be the hotel for you. I would say I am pretty laid back and don't make much fuss but did have some hesitations on my room. Pros-AC worked great, TV has cable and HBO, refrigirator and microwave worked and the doors have locks and WIFI was great. Cons: Shady area, Bathroom towels went from white to a really off shade of white(if you get my drift) also, went to check out at 7 AM and had to give my key to maintenance as no one was at the front desk and one of the beds was sunk in the middle. If you can handle not the most frills and just want somewhere to rest then this place will do it for you.
It's cheap...but sketchy as hell....old mattresses outside....the owner is nice, but there are people there that are scary....cops even came by twice on a Saturday.... The good news...the a/c in the room worked. The room was not very nice, but I expected that part for the price.
This motel was an epic fail! (reminded me of one utilized by hookers & druggies). Reservation made for 2 queen beds. Room given (#23) had just a king with "No Refunds" hand written & highlighted on room receipt.(IF you venture to this motel, I recommend viewing the room BEFORE paying at check-in). The room was in bad shape overall. Room did have a decent bed, shower pressure, microwave, frig & full-sized coffee pot. Old box-style tv that couldn't hear out of, as static overrode the tv channels. Light fixtures missing light bulb, sticky roach trap stuck upside down on carpet outside of bathroom, large dark stains on carpet, walls cracked in numerous places. Physical garbage & empty grocery sacks in dressers. Parking lot was littered with empty beer cans & old mattresses stacked up by fence. Large police presence & individual arrested from nearby room. We actually went to another hotel for the night. Booking agent is trying to get me a full refund (but couldn't get their phone calls answered today!?!).…
it is under new management and they are remodeling the rooms. it was very comfortable and a great price. I recommend staying there if you are visiting the Scottsbluff area. they now offer coffee danishes and muffins for breakfast. they really are in[roving the place.
We just wanted an inexpensive room at the end of a longer-than-planned trip. The rooms were clean, refrigerator and microwave, bathroom updated, and $45 including tax! However, the microwave didn't heat and we were eating left overs from camping. They said they would find one from another room. After 20 minutes, I went to require again; however, the boyfriend looking for the microwave informed me that our side of the motel had no hot water - he meant to block the room from being rented, but didn't. It had been out since day before, but had to get part from Denver. But, there was a room being used for showers and was told it was cleaned after each shower. I went to tell my friend - We had already been there an hour or longer, everything hauled into our room, was 8:30 PM by now, so stayed and they would refund $10. We did get a microwave, however, the showering room had NOT been cleaned. So back to the front desk for them to clean it. Then the shower had ONLY hot water - the cold had been turned off! (Why?!) Then entire time during this "adventure" everyone who was attempting to help was very friendly. (There seemed to be several long term guests). After staying in a primitive mountain cabin for ten nights, we had just wanted a clean bed and warm shower, but had a comedy of errors. In the morning, the manager refunded half of the price, so paid $22.40. Yes, was a pain, but other places in town wanted $120 or more plus tax - I've never understood anyone accepting that much money for a sleep and shower.…
