I was taking a long drive across the West, and had the pleasure of staying at the Nebraskaland Motel in Rushville. Staff was pleasant and attendant to all the comforts a traveler is looking for. I slept really well in a clean, quiet room and would recommend it to anyone.
This is a great hotel to stay in if you want the basics. My bed was comfortable, though it might have been a bit soft for some. The room had cable TV. There's was a/c, a bathroom with shower, and an overstuffed loveseat along with a refrigerator. Further, the price was fair. It's a good place to stay as a basecamp for exploring the area. It's only a few doors down from the Sheridan County Historical Museum, and maybe the equivalent of a block-and-a-half from the local grocery store. A little further that way is a bowling alley. I wish I wasn't there during COVID-19, but there is a sign on the door stating that they will open the place up specially upon arrangement. The hotel generally fills up at night with men working in the area. That's to be expected because it's not a tourist area. All-in-all, however, it's everything you want in a basic hotel.…
This place is a wonderful stop. Rooms are very clean and maintained. Full size coffee pot, new beds, seating area outside your front door, quiet. The owners are a family from Rushville, and live 4 doors down . They are at you beckon call if you need anything They are located approx. One hour from hot springs and casinos, two and a half hours from My Rushmore and three hours from crazy horse Priced between $75-85 dollars a night Don't forget to visit the Twisted Turtle Pub for some Brick Oven Pizza The motel does allow pets Will visit Again
This little place may not be much to look at from the outside but it was clean and comfortable inside. The coffee was great..the price was great. Comfortable beds and no outside sound to contend with. Internet connection was also good. They were cleaning the room next door when we checked out and I could smell the pine cleaner (my favorite).
If you are such in a tight budget is the right place to be, Rooms are ok size, has a microwave and a mini fridge, WIFI works well, rooms has a strong smell of enclosure , no ventilation, bathroom are bad, moldy, just not right, But at 25 box a night, is an adventure
