Oasis is an older country lodge, old fourniture, but the bed was good. Also good the hot water from the shower. Strange: there was a water kettle but no plug, the same for the microwave. You could sit around the pool and drink your own wine. Staff was sometimes friendly, other times not. Diner was a disappointment. Menu had 4 items, only mains, no starters. When we arrived at 7 h (the announced time) the kitchen staff was not there, so we had to wait till 8 h when the food came. Food (80% meat) was good prepared but much to much. We skipped diner next day.
Hi what a nice surprise to see a school been revamped into a guest house. rooms are very nice and all you need is available in the room. We enjoyed the school atmosphere and also the big surprise to find to find 2 little Springboks roaming the premises. jJohn was very helpfull and friendly. a nice place to overnight, swimming pool, lapa's and braai facilities.
Let's begin this review with a smile. With lots of smiles. Our stay at Oasis Country Lodge was just perfect. The king size double bed made us feel like royalty. I could work on my laptop, we loved the DIY kitchenette space. Our room was massive and comfortable. Service: friendly and efficient. Oasis Country Lodge is a real oasis, and we will definitely stay over there again, Thank you. Hennie & Maretha Maartens, Bloemfontein.
The staff was very accommodating and kind and friendly. The room was spacious and had all the amenities. Was a great experience and I would surely return when passing by.The location is perfect. I liked the animals especially seeing the springbok on the property.
Self Catering stay at Oasis was good but Two of my shirts were burned, another 1 shirt was stolen whilst laundry being done. Have reported to management, nothing is being done about it. Had problems with toilet which was sorted out DSTV signal not very good, some channels poor reception.
