My family and I checked in on Friday the 8th of March and stayed two nights. On arrival it was very pleasing to see the accommodation lived up to the pictures on the internet. The rooms were very clean, spacious and the accommodation in general is lovely. Saturday morning myself and my two daughters went to have breakfast at about 9:00am. There was no one at reception and we waited for about 20 minutes ringing the bell more than once to get someone to come and attend to us. First one of the cleaners came and I told her we were there for breakfast. She tells me that breakfast is long over so I explain to her that the note in the rooms doesn’t stipulate a cut off time - for weekends it just says “on request”. She says ok we must take a sit and she phones someone. This white lady whom I assume is the co-owner or wife or girlfriend of the owner comes. With attitude standing a distance from us she shouts, Hi breakfast is long over we are not doing breakfast now. Then I explain to her the same thing that the message in the room is misleading and they need to clarify it more and wrote a cut off time. She looses it. She shouts saying “Hey did you request breakfast from me when you checked in? Did you?”. All this infront of my children. Then I tell her that firstly, I am not fighting with her, secondly my husband checked in and not with her. To cut the long story short I walked away with my children and told them we I will take them to a mall to have breakfast. Few minutes later, the phone in our room rings and it’s the owner Kevin. He tries to do damage control saying the lady is new and offers us to come through for breakfast and him and his staff are absolutely wonderful. My initial instincts were to turn him down because his wife/ girlfriend had treated us so badly and was so disrespectful worse infront of my small children. But I thought to myself let me give him a chance plus my husband was running in a race and we were rushing to watch him at the finish line. Anyway I am glad I gave Kevin a chance because he really gave us exceptional service. Even when we came back in the evening, Kevin was such a wonderful hosts and the dinner was absolutely delicious. I think the place is best left to him and his wonderful staff to run because his wife/ girlfriend is a liability to an otherwise well run establishment.

There should be a heater in the very cold bathroom. Room itself heated and welcome electric blanket in the bed. Warm welcome and a decent restaurant where I had dinner and breakfast. Convenient parking and helpful reception.
