Visiting west Nebraska or Castle Rock be sure to stay at Meadowlark Motel and Restaurant. Do not let your first look sway you. It is not a fancy building with a beautiful lobby. Check-in is at the restaurant/gas station. After checking in, be amazed. Large, clean immaculate rooms. At a chain hotel this size room would be $200+. After you have settled in, go eat at the at the restaurant. Great food, moderately priced. Better than I have had at name brand restaurants. In the morning you are expecting continental breakfast, be pleasantly surprised as the waitress asks if you stayed in the motel? Take your pick of several complete breakfasts, including steak,ham,sausage,bacon, and hamburger steak with eggs, hashbrowns and toast. Prepare to be amazed.

This is an older motel, but it is clean and comfortable. They give you a discount at the restaurant. If you arrive after nine pm, make sure to call them and let them know, the office closes at 9:00. The room seemed pretty quiet, one floor only, so no one above to keep you awake.

Had a paid-for reservation a year in advance and this dumpster fire of a motel sold my room to someone else. Pretty shady leaving me stranded without a room for hundreds of miles (eclipse night) in order to make a few more dollars.

We were on our way to Scottsbluff National Monument and this motor inn in Bridgeport, 30 miles away, was a good choice. The rooms were dated but large, the wifi was excellent, and the rooms were quiet. It is adjacent to a bare/restaurant so each guest is given a coupon for a 50% discount for breakfast (6-9 AM). The food was excellent - we had pancakes and an omelet - and this was ,much preferable to what is usually offered at most motels. I would definitely stay here again

Very very nice people! Although old, the hotel was clean and very comfortable. The restaurant had the best pancakes I have ever eaten and the service was great! We would definitely stay here again! So friendly!
