A nice little place to stop off at while traveling. We were pulling a small travel trailer. We set up camp here so we could explore the area sites. Mainly Chimney Rock and Jail House and Court House Rocks. The place is very well kept and ran by a friendly couple. We had a nice comfortable worry free stay. There is no doubt we would stay there again if in the area.
We spent several nights here and thoroughly loved it. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They kept the place is good repair. The bathhouse was clean and very nice. It was also in an area where we could see many sites without too much of a drive.
Nice, clean rooms, The owner was very accommodating and friendly. We would go back again. We stayed for 3 days, almost needing to leave early because of snow in the forecast. She was willing to give us part of our money back. We didn't end up leaving early..
Had a reservation but due to some broken utility issue the owner slotted me into a narrow, grassy spot between two permanent-campers with no space to open my RV slide or awning. At full price no less. The few other sites near the highway looked to have been slightly renovated. As it's right next to the highway, there was a fair amount of noise. Only sorta level site. Tall grass needed mowing. No amenities whatsoever. Bathroom and showers were fairly clean, maybe a 3 out of 5. Park still needs lots of work. Would pass right by in the future when I come this way again.
What a lovely and unexpected pleasure this campground was. The owners were very friendly, helpful and informative about the area. They also have a small motel. Restrooms and Showers for the RV Park were immaculate. Warm and very clean! I was surprised that they had guest towels and all the amenities of a hotel/motel room in the RV Park showers.
