It's easy to pass through this podunk little town without giving it a second glance. But, this little gem of an RV Park is well worth the stop. The price is excellent as is the hospitality, And the place is beautiful. The Owners personally manicure the grounds to the point of making it look like a golf course.

I have stayed at the Trout Creek Motel & RV Park a few times over the years- most recently in June 2010 (the drop down menu does not go this far back!). It's a very friendly place, the rooms are tidy and welcoming. Additionally, it's great to find a nice place that ALSO is dog friendly. I had a very nice stay and would stop again on a future road trip.

In August of 2009 my family and I along with a friend rode our motorcycles for 13 hours when we came across this little beauty. Even though we arrived late they were beyond helpful and friendly. Bill Stevenson the Owner; grooms the RV/Camping area and landscape himself personally, Yvonne seems to always be nearby when you need a hand on anything. If you want to take a hike, go for a swim, fishing, dinner or even shopping they have all the information anyone could ever want. For the campers there are large sites with tables, water, and a shower facility. The RV sites are more than big enough for an extreme machine and the cars that go with it. They all seem to have built in fire pits and nice grassy areas to put up a nice lounge chair and just take in the day. The Motel itself is very clean and cozy, unlike some hotels that get run down, this gem is up to date. The linen is cleaned daily (yes all the linen is truly cleaned), they even have individual cabins of varying size with all the comforts of home. I will continually stay at Troutcreek Motel when I need a nice relaxing vacation, just like this year! When you hear big sky country, they aren’t kidding, when you sit in your chair and look up, you will begin to understand. At Troutcreek Motel you get the Motel, RV, and the Sky!

We didn’t stay here as when we arrived at 9 pm, the office area and road to get to rv park were way to tight for our 40 ft fight wheel. When calling to let them know, no one answered the phone or returned our calls for two days. I finally was called back by a man that was so condescending and rude I could hardly believe he would talk to me like he did. I he pretty much called me a liar. My husband and I have been in 34 states in the last 2 years full time RV so we know to not get ourselves in a spot that we can’t get out of. Lack of experience is not the case here.

We booked this site based on information found on the internet. The site advertises it has park wide internet coverage. We were booked into a site not far off the the road and about six sites away from the office. It was a small site that wouldn't allow us to put our awning all the way out and picnic table was nowhere near a usuable spot. We had absolutely NO internet coverage. My husband went to the office and said the reason we booked this location was because of the internet. They offered to move us to a site that had 50 amp service at more money. We had the ability to convert from 50 to 30 amp and would not have used more power. On investigation later, we realized there were 30 amp serviced sites available that we were able to get great coverage and that were empty. They were not offered. We would not return to this location

sometimes small mom and pop motels can be a little on the run down side. this little motel is anything but run down. the rooms are very clean and decorated very nicely. when i booked the room and they told me the price i questioned the quality and how clean it would be. i have spent $100.00 a nite and not had as good of a room as at this motel.

Stayed at the Spring Creek RV in Lincoln Montana for 2 weeks last spring while waiting for the snow to melt. We have 26 ft. pull trailer. The park is small but very cozy and well maintained with owner on site. We've passed by place quite a bit but never stayed before last spring. The site are nice, with all amenitites. Very good wifi and very good cable, they even have a telephone jack but I didn't try it. This is a place right on the highway but very quiet. Close to all stores, restaurants and the entire town. Anyway, don't hesitate to stop when you go by and don't blink or you'll miss it. Unless your used to butler walk up service you won't be disappointed. We were very happy with our time spent there. Oh if interested plan ahead at different times of the year they fill up and they have no full timers there as some rv parks have. As I remember it was about 40.00 a night. They also a small but nice shower area and Laundry.

I knew the owners of the Trout Creek Motel before it belonged to the current owners, Bill and Yvonne. Prior to 2003, the rooms were painted in various shades of pink and not kept quite as well as they could have been. Smoking rooms smelled horrendous and the upkeep of the place was left to be desired. Now, after more than 10 years of love, sweat and time put into the place, the rooms are beautiful, the campgrounds have expanded further back away from the road (more quiet and peace!) and cabins have been built near the motel that can sleep anywhere from 6-8 people (snug but cozy!). The detail the owners have put into the rooms give them that fresh face-lift they have been needing; no pink wallpaper, carpet redone, smoking rooms ACTUALLY cleaned so they don't smell atrocious and the overall area is in a constant state of being well-groomed and maintained. Even in the winter, the owners keep the parking lot plowed and salted. The owners and workers take care to ensure everybody has the best stay possible. If you are looking for a place to camp, hitch up your RV, bring a group of friends, or even enjoy a nice visit to the town of Trout Creek on your own, this is the place to rest your head. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the place and the beauty of the area. I will always stay here when I come to town!

The owner Suzanne is very friendly and great to work with!

Our room was good sized, very clean and comfortable. It had the amenities we needed for a two-day stay, especially a good sized fridge. We really appreciated the room darkening shades & curtains as it stays light until very late in northern Montana this time of year.

The outside is very charming and what you'd expect and appreciate from a good mountain motel. The pictures on their website are very accurate and drew us in for a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay at this motel again!
