This is a Missoula staple and the recently renovated rooms are some of the best and biggest in the city. It’s the river rooms that keep me coming back. Staff are friendly and helpful. There were minor issues throughout my stay, but they were fixed and it wouldn’t keep me from coming back. Fin offers a great view, quality food and the breakfast staff always did a fantastic job. Service in the evenings could be a bit rough around the edges, but they got the job done and the food was absolutely solid.

Hotel's Favourite
Terrific hotel. I was a bit nervous looking at the pictures as it looks more like a motel. It is fantastic! I stayed in a king with a river view - highly recommend this. The room was spacious and it was so nice to sit on the balcony and just enjoy the view and the sounds. The room and entire hotel is extremely well cared for. The dining area is great and offers wonderful views as well. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. The staff was always courteous and helpful. An excellent "home base" for exploring the area.

Front-desk manager Carolyn was AMAZING. Room was great. The TV size was awesome. I just stayed in a Marriott that was twice as big but the TV was three times smaller. So this was great. I also was able to plug in a chromecast stick and easily connect because it doesn't require a splash screen after connect. There were some cleanliness issues. The day after my first night, I walked in and housekeeping was in there. She was about to strip down the sheets. She said there was a gross dirty spot. She showed me. It was on the sheets on the other side of the bed... not the side I slept in. GROSS. I appreciate her throroughness. I also found a tiny ant swarm and when I got down into the carpet a little, it looks like there were some crumbs that hadn't quite been vacuumed up. But, hey, these things can happen, I get it. The ONLY thing I actually would ding this for is that they have a wine cooler not a mini-fridge, and, even weirder, they have no microwaves. If you want to use the microwave, you have to go out to the front desk and microwave something right there in the foyer with everyone else around. It's weird and more than a little uncomfortable. Jump to the bottom of the page, though: I appreciate how I was treated and next time I'm in Missoula, I'll stay here again.

We are on a road trip through Idaho, Washington State and Montana visiting the national parks. We are diamond hilton honors members and are loyal to the Hilton brand but I really don't know why we bother in America as it is clear they just don't give a damn! This was another stay where when we got to reception no-one thanked us for our loyalty and there was no mention of a room upgrade or the benefits being a diamond member gets you. When we asked if there was a room overlooking the river she didn't even want to look but when we asked if she could check she told us there wasn't. When we checked on the website shortly afterwards there were still rooms available with partial river views she obviously just couldn't be bothered. Very disappointing and another example of really poor customer service. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable but for over 400 dollars a night just not good value.

My husband and I stayed one night here on our Glacier National Park vacation while we took in a Missoula Paddleheads game. We loved it! Warm chocolate chip cookies at check in! As diamond members we were upgraded to a king balcony river room (room 334) which had been redone recently it appeared. There was a homeless camp set up across the river from the hotel, which kind of messed up the view but wasn't that big of a deal. The room was large as was the bathroom. The bathroom had a makeup mirror which I appreciated as you seldom find them in hotels. I wish all hotels provided them. The king bed was very comfortable. All the staff we encountered were helpful and kind. We had room service breakfast in the morning and it was great--I had waffles and my husband had eggs benedict. Thanks for a great stay!

I don't know what it is, or why, but lately the DoubleTree line of Hiltons is living up to the quality--in both accommodation and service--that used to only be found at the highest end of the Hilton brand. And this one is most assuredly among them. The front desk staff was outstanding, communication via messaging on the app was quick and helpful, and the service at breakfast was purely 5-stars. The property is beautiful and close walking to anything you need--including a great riverwalk. Book.a riverfront room and you are afforded a balcony that you just may never want to leave--I got take-out and enjoyed dinner on mine, not wanting to leave the views. A special nod to Caitlin for providing great service and allowing me 1st class parking! Most highly recommend!

Stayed here for one night before we started our drive up to Glacier National Park. We were traveling with our 3 kids. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Checkin was easy, we were upgraded to riverfront rooms (thank you!). Rooms were clean and updated. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant on-site. Both were very good. Dinner was extremely tasty, even got kids to try oysters! Service was prompt and good on both occasions. I would recommend this site for any family or business stay. We will be back!

Fantastic hotel. Updated with a modern rustic look that fits in with the area. Staff is very friendly. Tara, Rooms Director, was very welcoming and helpful. Ashley was our amazing server at the hotel restaurant which has a cool wraparound bar and beautiful views of the river. Rooms are very extremely clean and spacious. If you get a riverfront room you can fall asleep to the soothing sound of the water just outside your room. It was perfect.

Great hotel and site. within walking distance of old town Missoula. Right on the river. be sure to pay extra for a river view room BUT make sure you are not on the western end staring at the homeless people camped on the other side. A blight on this fair city.
