We had a great stay. I didn’t want another cookie cutter hotel. Room was nice, bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. I love the feel of the place and the theme of Great Britain. The Fox and Hound pub is awesome. We went there twice. Live music! And the Italian themed restaurant

Fun "Do Not Disturb" sign that fits the theme.
Here's my opinion both from staying at the Cheshire and staying in LOTS of hotels. While there are some negative reviews of the Cheshire, 75% rated it excellent or Very good (as did I). At any hotel there are some people who don't have ideal experiences. Often it's the hotel's fault in some way and not always because it's a bad place but mistakes get made, we are all human. Sometimes people are just difficult for one reason or another and are hard to please and sometimes they may have unrealistic expectations. As far as the Cheshire it's important to know that it is a unique boutique hotel. It's not a new property, though I personally think it's nicely maintained and has great character. Properties like that can be different than staying in a brand new corporate high rise hotel somewhere. Keep that in mind and consider again that great numbers (75%) recommend the Cheshire which probably is a good sign that it's not disgusting and dirty and you'll likely enjoy it. But also remember the style is different and if you have particular expectations you may prefer some place else that's more standard. That's my two cents. I hope you enjoy it if you do stay. I know I'll be back again.

Sorry, we were in the J. M. Barrie room. Tinkerbell flew away with the sock, thinking it would make a nice sleeping bag.

You should really call the hotel and ask. The online booking sites do not offer much information. We love this hotel, hope you enjoy your stay.

Hello there, I am the Front Office Manager here at the Cheshire. I would advice you to consider one of our poolside rooms. This will give you immediate access to pool deck from your room. If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to call me at 314-647-7300. Thank you and have a great day!
