This old hotel has charm and beauty. In this case, beauty than runs skin deep. The 2 queen room contains 0 queens, and 2 fills. The living room area is small and contains a couch, oversize chair, "coffee table", end table, desk, office chair, TV stand, and floor lamp. This is

Thank you for posting comments on multiple platforms, Grueny. I do apologize for the housekeeping opportunities you experienced while our guest. I have shared your comments with the department manager so they may be used as a training opportunity. Our double queen suite has 2 queen-sized beds, plus a parlor area separated by French doors. We offer several other room types from which to choose. We look forward to welcoming you back if an when your travels find you in downtown St. Louis.

We came up for the home show but because Garth was in town everything was booked. We stayed at one hotel by our favorite Italian restaurant then went back to stay downtown at Tribute hotel because it looked nice. We had a pleasant stay, still surprised no refrigerator in our

There are many hotels by Marriott/Starwood in this area and they are all clustered. Next time I would choose a different property for several reasons. The first is the property is strangely laid out with small rooms. Another is that as a Lifetime Platinum member, I was

travelingworkingmom, Thank you for choosing Magnolia Hotel St. Louis for your recent travels. Providing the highest level of hospitality is our priority and I apologize we fell short of meeting your expectations. We do provide the Platinum welcome amenity options per Marriott's standards for continental breakfast, 1,000 points, or a local amenity. As not all guests want the continental, we do give the option for a dollar value instead toward any food you choose to order. I hope we have the opportunity to host you again and provide a renewing experience.

Historic building but the rooms vary a LOT. I'm lifetime Gold SPG / Marriott and they gave me a room with a terrible view. They no longer refresh the free water daily. If you get a room where the door touches the sink, go back downstairs and request a different room. See pics

Where do I start? Oh yes, with the fact that I booked a reservation in November for a hotel stay in March, to which I received a phone call one week prior to our arrival to find out they moved us to a different hotel, all the way on the outskirts of town by the airport. They

ListentoBeth, Thank you for taking the time to post comments regarding the recent unforeseen circumstances. We sincerely apologize for the major inconveniences this caused you, your friends, & your families. This is not the typical Magnolia experience. We were told by Marriott that the reservations were transferred correctly including room types and I'm very sorry this was not the case. I'm glad to know that the Magnolia staff was able to rectify this part for you. We understand your frustration and hope to host you on a future visit to provide a renewing experience.

How much is the valet service for the weekend?
Hi - it’s pricey. $36 a night, as I recall. That seems to be the going rate with many of the better hotels downtown.

Is the in-room coffee maker a Keurig?
I'm unsure - we had coffee delivered to the room. We did have breakfast one morning at Roosters around the corner - it was a great place to eat.

How close is their parking?
I parked in the Multi-Story Car park just behind the hotel, less than a 3 min walk to the lobby.

I can't recall exactly. I don't want to give you the wrong answer, so I would suggest you contact the hotel directly to find out.

"Highly recommend a suite on a higher floor, and faced the East...for handicap accessibility would rec Marriott Grand next door"
"Corner room had a nice view"
"If you are interested in any type of view, request it. Most of the rooms face a building and there is no view of the city."
"Tiny little elevators so a lower floor might be a good choice"
"possible corner room?"
