There was honestly nothing spectacular about this hotel, but everything about it was very good. Check in was fast, friendly and easy. The rooms were fine, if slightly dated. The rates were good. The location was good. It was all good. The one thing that did stand out was the noise suppression. I got up in the night to use the bathroom and noticed there were some loud people in the hallway. I could hear them if I was standing by the door but couldn’t hear them at all from the bed. The one minor complaint I’d have was the room was extremely dry. Overall, though, everything was very good. We give it the Power Trippers Seal of Approval. - The Power Trippers
So we had our girls weekend planned me and my 3 daughters meeting up with our friends from Ohio. When we went in our room I realized it was not what I thought I had reserved. (bc we had stayed there a few years back and thought that was the room we were getting) we brought it to the mangers attention and he was rude arrogant and argued with me my daughter finally had enough asked how he could make it right we asked maybe for another room (there was 6 of us) so his dealing was the other room was going to cost of a fortune. We asked about a military discount he said we are not giving those out this weekend! So we had enough and just decided to deal with it. Well we went to go to bed at 12 and when we pulled out the pull out couch we found a BED BUG! A adult one. We brought it down to the front desk the gal took one look and said yes that is a bed bug. She killed it and said will get you a new room. We asked if they had a problem with bed bugs she said no. So off to new room. Opened that couch and there was a Cheeto and a false finger nail. Needless to say we had to options but to stay because it was late. We did not sleep well that night. We did not sleep well needless to say. Next morning we went to Trent the manger we asked if his night gal told him about the bed bug he said yes you had a bug very smugly and we said no not any bug but a BED BUG and we have a picture it was a adult size. He took one look and so oh and then said that is normal all hotels have bed bugs it’s the new normal and then went on to list the hotels that did. And then began to argue again. Because we said we have NEVER seen a bed bug in any hotels we stayed at and we have been at tons! Never said he was sorry was demeaning rude. We asked what he could do about it he said you can stay tonight for free but you could leave if you want. We also said we were going to report it to the health department and he just shrugged his shoulders.. We were very sad and upset about this. Because we had stayed at this hotel many times before. Beware Trent the manager said this is the NEW normal so if you want a rude manger bed bug hotel this is the place for you.…
We came here on thanksgiving after leaving another hotel for it being so gross and this one went above and beyond we even had our room upgraded at no charge first time for me!! I was so excited to they had waffles for breakfast haven’t had one in forever! Very clean great location and super friendly staff would stay again!!!
This was our second time staying here. We will continue to stay here when we are in town. Was very clean , bed is comfortable and was quiet . You are required to wear a mask to enter the hotel . They are still serving breakfast, which was very good with plenty of options. We will stay here in the future , it does not disappoint!
We travel a LOT. A hotel with NO dresser or drawer space? And the bar to hang clothes in the "closet"-so low everything you hang drags the floor. When we checked in and turned the bed down there were blood spots on the sheets. We complained and were told the sheets would be changed. Nope-housekeeping simply remade the bed. The hotel is beautiful but the lack of common amenities and the front desk clerk's dismissive attitude toward my wife was enough to ensure a bad rating. Consider staying somewhere else unless you have generally low expectations for a hotel stay.
