I stayed at Manhattan Suites for a week while in Cape Town for Two Oceans Marathon over the Easter weekend. My studio apartment was extremely clean and comfortable and well equipped with amenities (full kitchen, satellite television, etc). The living area was spacious and the balcony was a lovely place to sit and watch the sunrise and sunset. Daily cleaning is done but I require it on a few days so just put the DnD sign on the door. I had comfortable sleeps but the only issue was other residents talking loudly in the hallways and slamming doors - not the hotels fault but maybe they can look into soundproofing the rooms. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is included in the cafe downstairs but I didn't eat there. Canal Walk shopping centre is a 5 minute walk away…
Good situated, neat and safe. Near the city centre and V&A Waterfront. Walking distance from a pretty shopping centre. Everything you need is nearby. Lovely and modern. This is all you need to have a wonderful stay.
I have been working in travel for a very long time now and I'm very fortunate in experiencing a lot of properties. I can say in all honesty that this property is a well rounded 4/5. It has been revamped, is very modern, internet is being upgraded and the location is great, walking distance from Canal Walk Mall. The breakfast room was small, intimate and tasty! I was travelling with my husband and toddler and it was great. Shout out to the team and GM Muneera Dadi, thank you! P.S The property boasts a brand new conference facility
Looked great on the booking site, but what a disappointment in reality. Somewhat dingy, small and depressing. I will not go there again. Location ok if Century City is where you want to be but too far from Cape Town. There are much better establishments in the area.
Convenient location opposite of the large Canal Walk Mall and in the heart of Century City. Apartments are spacious but do start to look tired. Breakfast is basic ... Beds are comfortable but air conditioning unit is very noisy and curtains do not block the light. All-in-all good if business takes you to Century City. Tip: as the apartments are self catering don't forget to buy your bottle of water, wine, beer, etc
