As with my last stay this hotel is perfectly located for attending a conference at the Century City Convention Center. The rooms are spacious with USB chargers next to the beds to charge your electronics (not a feature of many hotels I've stayed in recently!). The staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel is 10minutes drive from Cape Town city bowl, 20min from the airport and 30min drive from Stellenbosch wine farms - perfectly located for a trip to Cape Town.

Been frequenting Century City over the past decade and Century City Hotel offers the best quality and value for money in regard to all aspects a business traveler would require. Exceptionally friendly and helpful personnel, eager to please and highest quality rooms and facilities. The restaurant offers great cuisine and wine. Superb client experience allover.

Really nice modern hotel. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Check in was a difficult process as we arrived after a long drive and well after the 3pm check in time and rooms were still not ready.
The service in the main restaurant was good from the waiter but after waiting for over 90mins, we did not get our meals and we were a party of 17 people. The manager could not give us an answer to the problem and we had to go to another restaurant nearby which quickly accommodated us.
The Umami restaurant should be closed as they could not serve anyone on the night.

I performed full payment a week prior my trip however I had to postpone 36 hours earlier and informed the hotel reservation ASAP as I had an issue with my daughters passport. I was told I would be contacted and waited till 2 days but it never happened.
It was a high period (new year) and I know I would not be refunded nor did I ask for one.
When I asked for amending my booking dates I was told it is not possible because of rates.. In short I lost my full payment/they got the money.
They did not even try to do something and stay firmed that I should pay a full stay again for my postponed trip.
It's only hotel wins not the customer.
Hope future customers are not penalized like me,

We reacted impromptu on a special offer and had a lovely stay for one night. Centrally located in the less busy part of Century City. Lovely bedding, cheese board and wine in the evening, good breakfast in the morning. Effective air conditioning. Friemdly staff. Nice setting. One less star for paying extra for parking, and our toilet and wash basin had some technical problems as well as the lift from parking to ground floor was out of order.

I stayed here for 4 nights during the AviaDev Africa conference in July 2022 and was extremely pleased by the service.
The hotel is just steps away from the Century City Convention center which was the perfect location. It was also convenient for access to a range of restaurants and the nearby mall.
Staff were particularly helpful. I was losing my voice on the morning of my big presentation and they went out of the way to make me a mug of hot water with honey, lemon and ginger that got me through the morning without mishap!

Excellent property where all of the modern business travel requirements are taken care of. Food and Beverage both Room Service and Breakfast were really good, service staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Check In and Out was smooth and quick with good information imparted. The room was comfortable and spotless housekeeping were excellent and meticulous. The local precinct has many bustling bars and restaurants should you wish to eat outside of the hotel. There are great international shops as well as a few interesting activities all nearby. The Convention Centre is across the road so if you are at an event it is perfectly situated.

Our experience was wonderful except that we had to pay for parking and the was no extra blanket in the room and it took more than an hour to get one. The bathrooms looked so beautiful and modern, probably the entire room could be brought to the same standard. In overall we had a good stay. Thanks

We recently stayed at the hotel . The hotel has a contemporary decor style. The water pressure in the shower is not great. The breakfast was mediocre,the vegetarian options are very limited. The problem I had was the kitchen staff cooking the eggs do not separate the utensils and pan when cooking ham. I do not eat pork, so eggs was not an option. The tea option was fantastic ,enjoyed the Ronnefeldt tea. But on Sunday morning, the hot water machine was not working .Overall it was not a terrible stay but it could be great if they changed a few things.

The staff is friendly, professional and thorough. The rooms are clean and modern. We felt safe and well cared for. The hotel has a prime location and you can walk through a lovely park, feeling one with nature and be in the mall not even 15 minutes later. Highly recommended - awesome overall experience.

Hi there, For your electronic equipment, I wouold suggest that you get a universal plug that allows for your 2 pronged plgs to plg into the South African 3 pronged round holed. If you ask at the electronics store based in International departures, they will be able to give the correct plugs for South Africa.
