Travellers' Choice
The Inn at Hermannhof sits right in the middle of all the Hermann, Mo. has to offer. The Historic Hermann Festhalle is the home to the Inn and features 8 luxury suites with incredible amenities: heated bathroom floors, jacuzzi tubs for 2, fireplaces in both the bathroom and bedroom areas, walk-in showers with 7 shower heads, steam settings, and more. Our other guestrooms are in fully-restored wine houses on the hillside overlooking the town of Hermann and have an incredible view of the Missouri River. These cottages were built in the mid-1800s by settlers original to the area. These settlers found the area perfect for growing grapes, and established their own "Mom & Pop" wineries. Our fully-and-meticulously renovated cottage rooms have varying degree of amenities, from fireplaces, walk-in showers, flagstone floors, balconies, and much more. Staying in the cottages give you an opportunity to stay in a 170-year old wine cellar or the living quarters for early Hermann settlers.

We stayed in the Gustav room in the Hillside Cottages of Hermannhof Inn. Exceeded our hopes for a stay with classic authenticity. Even though the Gastav is one of the smaller rooms in an 1850's cottage, it was plenty spacious - even the bathroom. Behind the cottage was a lovely terraced outdoor area with a perfect sunset view overlooking downtown Hermann and the bridge. There is a charming stone stairway nearby that leads right to the Hermannhof Winery at the base of the hillside. A fabulous breakfast was included in the fireplace room of the main Hermannhof Inn - they served custom omelettes when we were there. Highly recommend!!

Our accommodations at the Inn at Hermannoff definitely provided us with the best bathroom accommodations we’ve ever had! Not normally a tub person, I luxuriated in the massive jet tub with its own gas fireplace for quite a while, and the water was still warm. And we have never had a shower like this one. Two shower heads and four body sprays all at once! You didn’t want to get out. The luxury suite and dining room were cozy looking and comfortable. Good breakfast. Right on 1st Street and easy walking.

This is one of our favorite places to stay in Herman! The rooms are great and it’s right down town. The only thing that I wish was different was the breakfast. There are no options to choose from. We were given yogurt, French toast and sausage. French toast is not my favorite item for breakfast and I wish I had something else as an alternative. There was also a member of our group that requested meatless ahead of time, as it was Good Friday and the hotel asked if we had any dietary requests. The same plate of French toast and sausage was set down in front of them and the waiter walked away before we could ask him any questions. I would still stay here again, but just know that there are much better breakfast options at some of the other places in town.

Beautiful environment and furnishings throughout the inn and within our room (the Kingfisher Suite). Breakfast was delicious, and staff was wonderful. Will definitely stay again when back in the area.

The Eagles Nest was certainly an interesting and cozy stay! The charm of the town caught our attention as soon as we saw The Farm! I was a little sad that the Eagles Nest took us away from the charm and placed us in the middle of a "non-Hermann" look the was so nice in the rest of the town. The kitchen did not have any towels, cloths, or paper products anywhere to be found. The kitchen table and counters needed to be wiped down but we had nothing to use. In the bathroom, we were only given two wash cloths, two hand towels, and two bath towels. That was great for one person each to take one bath or shower and then they were used up. I thoroughly enjoyed the bath, and took not one, but two baths. Of course, I had to re-use the towels and wash cloths. The town was terrific, the king size bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was very clean.
