Evacuated to this hotel for hurricane Zeta 10/28/20. After learning we were facing unknown damage at our home, we decided to book another night We made our request first thing in the morning & was told ok. We left our belongings in the room expecting to come back that evening after a stressful day of assessing our damage and beginning major clean up. We received a call a few hours later telling us they were booked & had to get out. We drove back to the hotel an hour later expected a better explanation. The manager would not offer any explanation although there were availability online. The manager was very rude & actually walked off & closed the door to his office. Not a way to treat locals!!!!
Paid extra 20 bucks for a hotel with a pool and it was closed even though they said it was open. Called ahead of time to ask if there was any extra fees they said no. When we arrived they needed a 50 deposit to be returned once we left which they said was in case we smoked in a non smoking room. They Tried to keep it when we checked out late even though we asked for a late checkout. The bed was uncomfortable, the light kept blinking wasn’t working. Maid or one of the hotel staff walked right in without asking when me and my husband were butt ass naked to ask if we were checking out. THEN they used the phone to call and ask.We checked out at 11:40 check out was at 11:00. No elevator either just stairs so trolleys are useless unless you’re one the first floor. Man was rude. Hated the place.…
Before setting off on a 14 hour drive we did an internet search for a dog friendly hotel in Diamondhead MS. We called and ask for a room for four adults and a medium size dog. We received a quote for $79.00 so booked a room with our credit card. When we walked in to checked in we were told that there would be an additional fee if $25 for the dog. After letting her know that the person who gave the quote knew if the dog, her response was “ if you do not like it, you do not have to stay”. We found another hotel. While the mattered, the bait and switch and the rude behavior is what truly matters.
Stayed Sept. 2020. My room and bathroom were super clean. Clean sheets and towels, comfortable bed, and everything worked as it should - lights, tv, remote, ac. Good location, rates and very nice staff. Would stay again and would recommend to my family and friends,
I like this hotel! Compared to the others that were booked and rude or whatever else. This one was very nice, available, and accommodating. It was not dirty or did not have any bugs! The price was right too! Service: 4.5 stars (they didn't have breakfast available, but the front desk Eric was very friendly! Thank you!) Cleanliness: 4 stars (there was a bit of a smell in the room, they need a fragrance of some kind. But once you turn the AC on, it's fine. The bed sheets were still damp once you pull them from under the bed. I think housekeeping needs to dry the sheets a bit more before putting it in the bed. Price: 5 stars! It was about $70-$72 for a one king mattress bedroom
