The units are situated on an unspoiled private beach with an Indescribably beautiful view of the ocean. Whale season was in full swing, imagine drawing your curtains in the morning to the sight of a whale breaching immediately in front of your house and the golden sunrise on the water. Further away at least another 10 whales blowing and frolicking in the ocean. I experienced my first scuba dive on the colorful, busy coral reef under the professional instruction of Jay and Ronel , enjoyed a lovely meal at Cowries. The units are spacious and well decorated with all the amenities needed for a comfortable, self catering holiday. Six persons per unit. Highly recommended!!!

We are a family of six that stayed in Unit no 5 over the Easter break for a period of 8 nights. Chantel the owner was friendly and made sure that from the time we booked till check out everything was perfect. The self catering units can accommodate up to 8 people and the rates are reasonable. What stands out from the other establishments is the close proximity to the beach, just a few meters and you can enjoy the long peaceful coastline dotted with local fishermen. The location is also great as you are close enough to other activities and Inhambane town, yet secluded for a peaceful and relaxing beach break. We were spoilt with fresh fish, crayfish and prawns, Frans organized what ever we needed. The unit was cleaned everyday by the friendly and always willing staff. It is well equipped, very comfortable with the AC a blessing for those warm evenings. We enjoyed taking early morning walks and sometimes would go out fishing with my son on the surf who caught a lovely yellow king fish. The Moz waters here are so clean and warm, the nearby beaches of Guinjata approx 5km are great for swimming, in front of the chalets there are rock pools and a great to snorkel during low tide. One can reach the lodge grounds with a 4x2 but I would suggest a 4x4 so that one can explore the stretch of coastline without restrictions. This was one of our best beach holidays, and would highly recommend, we can’t wait to be back in the near future during the whale season.

Fresh fish and "pao" daily if you so wish, nothing is too much trouble for this team. Self catering chalets, fab ice machine, take slops and a cozzie and oh a towel or you can air dry......Love the view, love the unspoilt beach, love the dunes, love the natural rock pools, love the sandroom.....Love Ngumula.

If you are looking for peace and tranquility, then this is the place. We booked 2 self catering houses. The view of the ocean from our house was amazing. What we loved is that we could wallow in the little pool on our deck and we could watch our teenagers swimming and body surfing in the sea. The staff are amazing and are so helpful with anything you want or need. We would go out and explore on some days and then relax and chill on others. The bedrooms are air conditioned which was fantastic at night when you needed to get away from the heat. I would recommend this wonderful place. We will definitely go back again.

Chantel, Thanks for the stunning place. It is a perfect and relaxing family holiday. Thank you to all the staff working there. My family just wanted to go back, and we have been to various places in Moz. I must agree the ice machine is a winner !! We will definitely see you again. I love the place away from the crowds but close enough to drive to.

Thanks Chantal, Frans & team for a fantastic venue for our 1st trip to Moz. Although it was a 2-day trek from Jozi, it was worth it, though not long enough. We'll be back, and for longer next time. The accommodation & space were ample and well equipped; the service was fantastic and the ocean view, whales and isolation added to our relaxation. We simply loved it and was so sad to pack up to return home. See you next year!

Great house: spacious and well equipped including 2 x en suites, air cons, industrial ice machine, freezer, splash pool, friendly service and a wonderful view! One can swim, snorkel, surf and fish right in front of the house. We had lovely weather and no mosquito's. Dive centre, shop and restaurants a short drive away. Thanks for the efficient airport transfer despite a delayed flight and stocking up on essential groceries for us. We didn't want to leave and would love to go back! Thank you Chantal, Franz, Fatima and team!

-Booking and administration with Chantel Hamick, the owner- Great -Traveling there from Gauteng- Not so great, but thats Moz, 1000km drive. -Location- exceptional!!! On the beach with swim and snorkel right in front of you. -Facilities-exceptional!!! Spacious 4 bedroom house, well equipped. Ice machine and splash pool at each of the 6 units. -Cost- Great veleu for money out of season, may be a bit exspensive during the school holidays. -Mosquitos- NONE!!! Temprature- Most of the time a nice sea breeze, the rest of the time there's the pool and aircons in the rooms. -Accesibilty- 4x4 only Development areas- the staff can have much more regard for guest privacy. the electricity supply in Moz is unstable.
