Boreham House B and B is a stunning place in an elegant old listed house.
The place is spotless, the bedrooms nicely decorated and the bathrooms top of
the range.
The breakfast is very generous and with a big choice.
The hosts, Sara and Simon, are very welcoming and at hand to answer any query
and very helpful too. It was like visiting friends which is great.
We had the Kingswell room which is at the front of the house, but very quiet and a beautiful view onto the spectacular garden from the bathroom. We only stayed 2nights as it was booked up, but will most definitely come back.

We stayed at this beautiful house for two nights from 29th /31st October 2021, And I have to say what a beautiful place this is. The house is a time capsule, full of beautiful furniture and soft furnishings, yet all your needs are met with the rain showers, central heating, wall mounted TV, satellite TV including Netflix. And Wi-Fi. There is a lovely snug just to the left as you come in the front door, very cozy with a piano and a honesty bar. To the right is the dinning room. Which has a lovely chandelier, from here you can see sue and Simon / the owners make your breakfast. They are extremely welcoming and friendly. Nothing is a bother. You feel like you have known them for ages. Really kind good people. The breakfast was one of the best I've had, and I've had a few. Delicious!! We shall definitely return, and I would recommend Boreham House to anyone wishing to spend some quality time away somewhere special.

Simon & Sara, the perfect host's, truly welcoming from the moment we arrived. Excellent Breakfast menu, wide choice, prepared and cooked to perfection. Lovely little touches, especially the freshly baked biscuits and cakes on the landing when we returned in the afternoon. Enjoyed our tour Simon of your beautiful home and gardens, learning about the renovations you have made and also all the historic facts about the surrounding area. Great tips and helpful advice from Simon & Sara, regarding where to visit and the best places to eat during our stay.
Highly recommend The Bulls Head, just a short walking distance from Boreham House. We also had nice meal at The Ash Tree inn, in Battle, just a short drive away and The Royal Indian Restaurant in Halisham.
Great location for exploring. Lots of beautiful National Trust properties. We enjoyed Bateman's House, home of Rudyard Kipling. Scotney Castle, Bodiam castle, Sissinghurst Castle Garden. We walked along Eastbourne promenade then across to Beechy Head, Seven Sisters( Birling Gap) then onto The Long Man of Wilmington. Camber sands, lovely sand dunes, beach stretches 3 miles to just beyond the Kent border. A short drive from Camber to Rye, with it's lovely cobbled lanes, lined with medieval, half timbered houses.

We had the pleasure of staying in Boreham House recently for an extended weekend break. Sara & Simon were wonderful friendly hosts and the house has some stunning views across the Weald. We stayed in the Woolner Suite which was just perfect with its own sitting area. Breakfasts were delicious and set us up nicely for our travels - Bodiam Castle, Bexhill, Camber Sands were all close by for a pleasant coastal/beach walk. Simon recommended a tour for our final day which covered many local places of interest including Birling Gap and Beachy Head amongst others and all within a short drive. The Bull's Head is less than 5 ins walk and we had good meals there as we did in the Trattoria in Bexhill.

If you are looking for a quality stay in East Sussex I would highly recommend a stay here - its fabulous!!

Just enjoyed a relaxing break at this charming property. Our hosts could not have been more friendly or more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious and had every convenience. The breakfasts were excellent and clearly concentrated on local produce. The property is excellently located for both coast and country with lovely views of the countryside around and the not too distant sea. The garden is a lovely place to sit and relax after a day exploring. All in all, we could not recommend this b&b more highly.

Sara and Simon are fantastic hosts, the property is spotless and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in The Stables, their self catering apartment. Well equipped, wonderful, comfortable beds with great linen. Patio with a bbq and access to the beautiful garden with amazing views over the Weald. Highly recommended.

We were made to feel welcome from our hosts Sara & Simon from the minute we arrived, and throughout our stay. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful period property and grounds with attention to detail. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our room was charming. Breakfast was wonderful, freshly cooked with a good choice. Absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Thank you.

We stayed at the Stables in the grounds of Boreham House B + B.
We were completely self contained and the facilities were luxurious. There was a private terrace and a Dell area with trees and a small pond. We would definitely recommend The Stables. Not cheap but worth every penny.

We had a lovely stay at Boreham House. The owners have recently restored the house and opened as a B&B and nothing was too much trouble. We were given a tour of the outside of the house and quite rightly you can tell how proud they are of the restoration. They even manage to get us a table to eat at the local pub when we had been told by the pub it was full. Definitely recommend a stay.
