$115/nite - more expensive than others nearby. Bathroom was dirty, pillows were flat & lumpy. "Breakfast" was a Danish and horrible coffee. Staff was friendly. Will not be returning. Chisholm Inn cheaper and way nicer.

Stayed one night recently. Room was clean and quiet, staff incredibly friendly and helpful- both with local sites, directions, shops, restaurants, etc.

Very comfortable beds. A recliner in the room was a very nice touch. The TV was excellent--sharp picture and good choice of channels. On the negative side, the building was so poorly constructed that every foot-fall on the top floor resounds on the botton floor and a toilet can be heard from three or four rooms away. Continental breakfast was minimal.

Upon arrival the clerk told me there were NO VACANCIES. Twice she tried to tell me there was NO ROOM. I told her I had an online confirmation and was given a room.
No elevator.
Room 215 had food on the floor. Bathroom floor and carpet was sticky and unclean.
Light switches did not work.
Remote was sticky.
Curtain was broken and very difficult to open and close window.
Only sheet and bedspread, no blanket.
Towels were on the sink and not in holders. The towel holder had dirty towel stuffed in it.
Long black hair (not mine) in tub with super crusty shower head.
Dust on top of everything. It looked like a room from a horror scene.
Coffee maker was broken with an old moldy coffee bag left inside tray.
I was too afraid to open microwave or fridge.
I felt totally unsafe from Covid germs.
In 50 years of traveling the world I have never been in such a disgusting room.
Pay the extra money to stay anywhere but Rodeway Inn Hibbing.

We arrived Friday night to a hotel room that was dirty and smelled like smoke and body odor (it was a non-smoking room). There was urine pooled by the bottom of the toilet (not ours!), a dead fly in the bathroom light fixture, burn marks on the mattress, and grime caked onto the wall fixtures. The heating system was very loud and hardly worked at all. There was NO sign of breakfast in the morning. Besides an elderly couple that obviously wandered into the wrong hotel, the other guests at this establishment were questionable at best. When my husband inquired at the local Walgreens the next day about other hotels in the area, the clerk was flabbergasted that we had actually spent the night at this place. Apparently, it has a bad reputation with the local folk as a dirty place where unsavory characters frequent. We checked out Saturday and made our way to another hotel for Saturday night. This hotel wasn't really fancy but it seemed like heaven after our stay in the other place. Stay away!!!

My husband and I have stayed at 3 super 8's in the past, and vowed never to go back to one. The rooms smelled really bad, so bad that a bottle of fabree would not work, and very dirty. We were going to Hibbing to see our kids, & I booked online at the super 8 being that this was the only hotel that showed up in hibbing, I booked a room. When we got there the lobby was very clean, the front desk person was really nice & friendly. We went to our room and was very surprised on how clean it was. The bed was kinda hard, but we can deal with that. We don't eat breakfast in any hotel, so I can not comment on their breakfast. We will be going back to the Hibbing Super 8 again.

My client stayed at this hotel for a night prior to her flight. She requested a wake up-call for the morning which she never received, causing her to miss her flight. The original room key did not work, microwave did not work and the room was cold. She was told they only heat them if they will be used. The front desk is not staffed from 11pm-530am. The front desk told her she only needed to be at the airport 10-minutes prior to flight. I spoke with Judy- and she said I am surprised that they need to be there earlier. My client requested a time and Judy said she would do it later, which never happened at all. The hotel Manager- Anki would not listen at all to what I had to say and would not help. This is causing my client another $400 to change her ticket to another day. I am never recommending this hotel to anyone. Horrible customer service!

Arrived to no one at front desk.. Had to dial 0 to tell someone that I was there to check in. The woman who answered sounded like I woke her up and when she appeared at the front desk her appearance matched my suspicions. She was disheveled- hair in some ratty excuse of a bun and her bra barely contained her right breast... It was a sight. The room was equally as grotesque. There were crumbs IN THE BED... Some unknown crusty remnants on the comforter. My son found dirty ladies underwear in the couch. Seriously. Filthy.
Had it not been for a hockey tournament monopolizing the other local hotels we would have left. Instead I dropped $250 at the local Walmart for new bedding and bedbug quality mattress protecters.
Never again.

Actually we were quite pleased with this hotel. They were very polite and it seemed pretty clean. The continental breakfast was simple but filling. The beds were comfortable and my wife and I both got a really nice nights sleep. Cheap and easy to find.

Room Tip: East side is quieter. There is a field on that side of the building.

The whole hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. The first thing I noticed in the room was that the bathroom mirror looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a month and the towels were very yellow. One washcloth was stained brown. There was a lot of short black hair on the floor in the bathroom and some in the tub. I think it was dog hair. The breakfast was o'k except it wasn't kept stocked. I was there 2 mornings and had to ask the staff for cups both mornings. The second morning pretty much everything was gone and when I asked for cups the staff filled the cups and nothing else until the next person asked for other items.

I apologize for your issues with the smoke smell and yellowish towels. We are taken actions to prevent these issues. I also apologize for the breakfast area not being stocked properly when we are busy we cant always get in there with the area been so small so we wait till it quiets done we are in the process of making a bigger breakfast area that will eliminate this problem. again i apologize and hope you return to our motel in the future.

"The light switch in the bathroom is broke. You can turn it on but not off, The sink takes forever to drain. The room was really cold and it took a long time to warm up. There was no heat on when we walked into the room. Only one side of the heater was blowing hot air. the other side was cold air."

"Update the rooms. The couch in my room looked like it was rescued from a garbage dumpster. I was afraid to sit on it. The Continental breakfast was cold cereal, and the beds are very uncomfortable. Could have had a much better room about a mile away for $10 more a night and a pool."
