We had a great experience at this lovely old hotel. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We had a nice view of the bay and the town. The hotel is right downtown so we didn't use our car to go anywhere. The people at...More
This hotel was not at all what I thought it would be like. We liked that it was in Downtown Traverse City, but the bathroom in the room was small and out of date. The hair dryer was ancient, the iron was secured to the...More

When we reserved our room, the lady working the front desk suggested that we choose a room in the tower, as they are more modern and roomy ($10 upcharge). The room was not large compared to modern hotels, but it was bigger than the non-tower room we had stayed in previously. The decor and furnishings were updated and clean.
