Here is your textbook example of "Don't judge a book by its cover.." The rooms are a bit different in the way they're set up, and the decor is a bit old, but these rooms are quiet and immaculately clean. They pass the extra scrutiny tests as well. The rates are affordable and it's centrally located on Ashmun in the Soo.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay for a few days. It's older, yes, but its CLEAN and affordable.

Great value!

Perfect spot for a day layover. This will be my go to motel next time I head this way. Very accommodating, friendly, and a comfortable room. The price was right! I would highly recommend this sweet Lil motel!

Wonderful!!A real gem!!

Called then checked in seems family owned even dog welcomes you. They are caring concerned attentive wow!!nice!! Rooms are clean quiet nice much nicer than americas best value inn!!! Its cozy big room n bathroom simple place that makes u feel welcome price is great near pharmacy fast foods only bummer remote hard to work but i ABSOLUTELY recommend this little place!!!! And i'd stay again asked for extra coffee she even came out in snow to bring it to me!!! Bed not too hard not too soft just right oh yes goldilocks stay here!!! Wonderful!!!!!! I'm soo happy rested n ready for the day!!!!!

When in town always stay at this motel, very reasonable prices clean rooms the beds are decent no hard at all, convienient location, near several restaurants, pharmacy, gas stations, free WiFi, great cable channels and more. This place is quiet and the owners are very friendly and professional... I definitely would recommend this place

Gone Downhill Fast

This place was okay September 2013, but May 2014 was dirty, smelly, and in-room phone didn't work. A family member trying to reach me couldn't get a human answer to the motel phone or call-back after 2 attempts around 9PM. Not everyone has a cell phone with them and this was the only way this person could reach me. Won't be back, as there are much better choices reasonably priced nearby.

Drive to Mackinaw if you can

Stayyed one night asked for a non-smoking room, that didn't hsppen,stunklike hell! Beds are basic, two double beds and really flat pillows in our room. If you get room 20 take a look underthe bathroom sink. Ive never seen a sink rust out. Best thing that I can say is that it was inexpensive.
