Makgabeng surpassed my expectations. We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. The room and view were beautiful. We were welcomed with open arms and received excellent service. The attention to detail was admirable, the staff were very friendly and the presentation of the meals were excellent.

Makgabeng Lodge is situated next to Blouberg mountain with their elegantly decorated rooms. For those who love nature can enjoy mountain views with flowing rivers. There are beautiful ancient painted rocks and bushmen shelters with all ancient paintings that brings history back

The lodge really exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious and beds extra comfy. The hosts gave us such a warm welcoming and attended to our needs. The breakfast was yummy. Book a hike with to the nearby mountains with the hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at Makgabeng Lodge. We loved the room and the view. The food was very good. We really enjoyed talking to Fortune and his wife. If you want to get away from the city and enjoy the peace of nature stay at Makgabeng.

Being back at Makgabeng for a few days last week, I can confirm that the charm,peacefulness of the place, its friendliness ,continue to work their magic.The welcome is friendly,, the bungalows comfortable, , the dinners very good.... The area's main draw is still the rock art at the Makgabeng plateau,the Blouberg mountain, , the fact that it is authentic and quite undiscovered.However it is easily accessible from Polokwane and should be considered as a great option for a couple of nights on the way to the Tuli Block.

We found our stay at the lodge to be pleasant along any dimension that influences whether one has a bad or good experience. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, the food was well prepared and meeting and interacting with the owner was the cherry on top and made us certain that we would return to the lodge as guests again in the future.

Our family of three was warmly received and made to feel very comfortable. The service was outstanding and the quality of accommodation and food excellent. Fortune, Agnes, Rosina and colleagues went out of their way to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back to continue exploring Makgabeng and Blouberg!

The staff at Makgabeng Lodge was very helpful and polite at all times. My family and I felt like we were at home. Booking at Makgabeng Lodge is really value your for your money, its clean and the breakfast is delicious.

wow. we were astounded by service and hospitality of this small family business. Fortune and Loraine thanks so much for an amazing honeymoon experience. We enjoyed sunsets at pool deck. Went on bushman rock art activity and had amazing candle lit dinners. Hope to be back soon.

At first when i heard about Makgabeng Farm Lodge and its location i thought it was just a small and not such good place for one to take your loved one to spend some quality time there. Anyway i took a risk, and with that risk of booking not sure if it was a good place. i want to thank all the people at Makgabeng Farm Lodge for having such a wonderful cultural place, for their wonderful hopitality. i had a great time, the rooms are superb i must say. i was staying at Charlet rooms and i liked the design inside and out, the shower and bath. it was the first and that'll definately not be the last time for me...My home is not far from there but i won't mind spending money just to get the fresh environment, peace of mind. Keep up the good work guys, putting Senwabarwana (Bochum) and Blouberg Municipality on the Map.…
