Our one night at Pictured Rocks Inn & Suites was pleasant, uneventful. We were on the 2nd floor (there is no elevator), and front desk staff offered us help if we needed it. Room was spacious, showerhead was very nice. The inn is not the most modern, but everything was perfectly adequate and clean. We would return.

Definitely not worth the money, as rooms are not very clean. The front desk staff is nice and gives you a good advice regarding where to dine, but next time will choose a different hotel. The location of the hotel, though is very good as it close to everything.

Buyer beware! Booked a room for nearly $200.00 after local and state taxes. Hotel seemed nice ... No breakfast offered and No microwave in the room. Shared microwave in the lobby. 1st getting into the room it was very heavy with deodorant ... thought wow a little much! Middle of the night (1AM) the smell started it's attack. It was urine ... aka strong Pee smell! Slept with the window open rest of the night. Front desk offered no apology or discount .... pretty bad!

Stayed 5 nights. Staff was super. Hi Heidi gave us great tips on where to go locally. Pool and Hot tub area was great. Housekeeping were super friendly and helpful. Close to everything we wanted to see!!

While the staff at the front desk were incredibly nice and accommodating, the rates were ridiculously high (almost $300 a night) for mediocre accommodations. Upon walking in the room, my wife had an allergic reaction to whatever deodorizer was used to clean the room. We were able to get our money back and stayed elsewhere. It's a rather large hotel but we weren't impressed with the property but greatly appreciated the staff's understanding.

Our first trip to Munising, MI and upon check in, Heidi, took her time explaining points of interest and recommendations for places to visit, see, and places to eat. Heidi works the 3-11p shift and each day we would stop by the desk to compliment her on her service and recommendations for our trip. She is very knowledgeable about the area and super kind and friendly. She is an excellent person to have at Pictured Rocks Inn and Suites and thanks to her, our trip was a memorable one!

Don’t stop at this location!!!! Not worth the upset or disappointment especially if you’re AA!!!!! Unprofessional and unclean! The toilets are very low to the ground. Stains in the carpet.The bathroom counters were permanently stained. The shower curtains were also soiled. The beds were not properly made. The room had 2 desk with no chairs! The woman Heidi at the front desk was unprofessional and dishonest. I would never allow my family or anyone I love to stay at a place like this! The level of respect given was to that of a animal! I would 👎 never ever stay in that place ever again! They are pressed for money and it shows!!!!

So I hardly ever write reviews and I take some bad reviews with a grain of salt as sometimes there are chronic complainers. I've stayed in some bad hotels but this place is disgusting especially for what they charge! $225 per night! We checked in...dropped our luggage and went to get something to eat to get out of there (all other hotels were booked so we didn't have much of a choice). Returned to hotel around 10pm....pulled back covers to find a large bug on top of pillow case! Room is damp, musty and bathroom just plain gross. Zero security as doors don't latch and anybody could come walking in. Save you money and drive to another city if Munising is full!

We traveled to Munising specifically to see Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Not many options for a family of 5 for lodging. Thankfully, we found Pictured Rocks Inn and Suites. We had a very large suite with 2 queen beds, pull out sofa, and kitchenette. The room was impeccably clean and beds were very comfortable. The lobby and pool areas were spotless as well. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I did make it a point to let them know how impressed we were with the cleanliness. There were "help wanted" signs all over town and I understand how hard it is to find good help, so Pictured Rocks Inn must be doing something right to be able to keep a hotel clean and running smoothly. We will likely never be back to the area, but if we ever are - I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!…
