The Mulberry Lane suites is a perfect getaway! From the onset the service received by Mpho was awesome. The suite is perfect, the luxurious silk bedding and drapes a treat for the skin and eyes and the spa bath, the cherry on top. The geyser is fast enough to use it more that once an evening, a bonus on a cold night. The suite is equipped for self-catering but come prepared as the closest proper shop that stocks groceries is in Graskop. The fact that it is this far our of town means utter peace and quiet. No music pumping of nearby establishments, no noisy roads. The only sounds you will hear are the bush babies and the roosters in the morning. If you don't want to cook you can eat at The Deck restaurant. The food is good, not great. I had lasagna for lunch and was not too impressed. It was not bad, just not traditional lasagna rather lasagna with a south African twist. My hubby had the chicken bunny chow and his food was great. For dinner I had a focaccia and again, not great. Hubby had a dagwood and he was more than happy. And if you want the food brought to your suite, no problem. I do regret not trying the traditional bobotie though. The tour of the farm however is a must. We were awestruck with the information we received and looked at the bedding and drapes in the room through different eyes. Ivy was our tour guide and she is a gem. Be sure not to miss it. This place will see us again. It is the ideal breakaway with all the romantic trimmings without breaking the bank.

Great place, very relaxing and romantic. Staff are friendly and helpful. Did not want to leave! Mpho at reception immediately makes you feel welcome. Food was tasteful and we were lucky to get room service, owners went over and beyond to make it special for us

Beautiful place, stunning room, would visit again.
Things to look at:
Parking for the suites not enough and turned out muddy and slippery.
What is the need for a 2nd King size bed? Not sure if this is meant as a measure of opulence so that each could sleep in their own bed, but this gave me the opposite feeling.
Coffee station/setup in room did not spark joy or live up to rest of the room.
Bar/restaurant has very nice setup, but service is lacking, bar and restaurant not linked on account.
Lady taking and delivering orders was also the chef but didn't understand what a rare stake meant.
She did get full marks for effort though.
The lady giving the silkworm tour is a star.
The gentleman handeling our arrival is also excellent.

It is with great disappointment that I write this review. I was called the morning to confirm my ETA and I was also offered an upgrade which I declined, as I specifically booked the Log Cabin for its privacy. Upon arrival, the log cabin had not been cleaned since the previous visitors left. However, we were given a voucher for the restaurant to have a meal while they were cleaning up. Unfortunately, the accommodation was nothing like expected. The cabin was dusty, the tablecloth dirty, the kitchen utensils, the little that there was, dirty and old. The stove was disgustingly dirty. The bathroom had insect nests in the shower, filthy shower curtain, and shower not draining. All-round very unhygienic. The sheets and blankets were clean, but there were dead insects and filth under the bed. Thus, the highlight was the private jacuzzi, which was cleaned daily, but unfortunately, none of the jets worked, so it may as well have been a bath. It is apparent, that there is no supervised housekeeping and/or regular maintenance. What a pity as it is a beautiful setting.

Our family has stayed at this establishment numerous times over the last 12 years, and every time we had a great stay. Love the setting, breakfasts on the deck and friendly & helpful staff. They will see us again sometime soon.

The staff are friendly, the cabin is clean, the jacuzzi is ready upon arrival.... what more could you ask for?
There is a restaurant on the premises.
They sell wood & even meat if you accidentally run out!
No need to to travel anywhere, just sit back, relax and enjoy!

We were greeted by very welcoming staff, the cabin itself was massive and the jacuzzi overlooking the forest was nothing short of amazing. No TV and no cellphone reception meant peace and quiet. An ideal place to stay to get away from the noise of everyday life and just kick back and relax. Lastly it is close to all attractions like God's Window, Beuke's Luck Potholes and Graskop Gorge Lift. Don't hesitate to book your stay here.

The resort is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views. The luxury suites are stunning and definitely worth it. The staff members were very friendly and always willing to help and assist. We also received a complimentary voucher for the restaurant at the lodge.

We enjoyed our honeymoon to Mulberry Lane was booked into the tent, we love camping but hate the setting up and down so this was ideal. Was raining at the time but we loved it, so relaxing and only nature around us. 🌸 Staff "Mpho" OMG he is just the best ever, so friendly and helpful with everthing 10/10* Champ!

The overall trip was excellent except for some car trouble that I had at 4:30 AM. The owner, Mr Piet Swart went out of his way and beyond to assist despite the cold and rainy weather. I was really taken aback by his willingness to assist.

The staff were extremely professional and helpful and the rooms were exceptionally clean.

Would highly recommend!
