The things i want to say about this location is as follows: These are observations and not criticisms. The overall ambiance to the hotel is good, and when we were there, there were not very many people, so that made for a quieter time there. The overall view of the facility is that it just seemed to be a little tired. It needed some kind of an uplift to give it a more 3D approach...something needed to stand out on it. The food was excellent and the staff in general were very good, most polite and very accommodating to anything you needed, so a big kudos to them. I hope this helps others....
The staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the experience of sleeping in a tented lodge was incredible. The views were breathtaking. The gravel road was long and arduous however it was worth it for the stunning views and experience of staying here. Only improvement would be to have a vegetarian option on the menu however the food was delicious.
We spent one night here. We have arrived here after a long day game viewing in Etosha. We found the place so peaceful, the position in the hills is amazing and serene. Interesting building with open arches that opens to the view. Good service by Abraham and his crew. Beautifully done high standards tented rooms ( was a bit noisy at night with the wind). Good food. Amazing to sit outside and stare at the view. We would definitely come back again. Good WiFi.
This lodge has some way to go before reaching the standard of other similar lodges in this area of Namibia. The tents we had were hot and there was no fan, the wind through the night caused the tent fabric to flap a lot giving the impression that it could blow away any minute. The food was dreadful, dinner and breakfast. We requested a fan for our room several times but never received one. Not a good experience at all.
It was the first time ever that we slept in a tent. The view was great and the "bush noise" was a very nice experience. We had a sundowner on the veranda and it was most enjoyable. I will go there anytime again, but stay two nights.
