The last bit of the road to the campsite is quite rocky and bumpy so we had to be very careful with our sedan to get there. But the campsite itself is very very spacious, private ablutions are well kept, although the wind does sometimes blow the shower screen into the shower. There is a nice roof for shade during the hot days. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When we had our tent ruined by the wind they did everything they could to make our stay more comfortable. They even managed to get us a tent to loan. Shop doesn't stuck many supplies for campers, so stuck up on food before you get here.

The location of the lodge was perfect: it took us only 2 minutes to drive to "Andersson's Gate" (the entrance to Etosha National Park). We booked our stay on booking.com for 3 nights with breakfast and dinner included. This is exactly the package we needed to fully enjoy our visits to "Etosha National Park". We had a small problem when the first room was assigned to us, then the second room with the loud noise of the air conditioning. Ruswina at the front desk was very patient and decided to accompany us to inspect the third room to make sure it was in perfect condition; this is where we noticed that she knows what is best for her guests. The room and bathroom were spacious and well equipped. And the view is well clear to enjoy the beautiful sunset from our little balcony. The breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet are very good. The choice of buffets is very varied and hot drinks with cookies (the best homemade!!!) are available at all times. Every evening at dinner we had the chance to taste the different types of game meats on the grill and it was a great discovery. All of the staff is very professional, friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant, kitchen, housekeeping and maintenance. You can see that it is an international service, as we noticed that there are many foreign tourists, especially from Europe. We were very well taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left. We are sad to leave but we will come back one day. We would like personally to thank Ruswina and Valencia for making our stay so pleasant and pampered. We highly recommend this beautiful lodge to our family and friends and for those who are visiting the "Etosha national Park"!

I stayed here for 2 nights during my tour of Namibia. The location to the park is perfect just a few minutes from the main gate. The chalets are great a lovely size with all you could want. It was a short walk to the restaurant but was lit at night although I would recommend taking a torch as well. The rate included dinner and breakfast of which there was plenty available on a buffet service for both the food choice was amazing and very fresh. The pool was lovely and welcome after a day in the park. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The shower only provides very little amount of water. No hairdryer. The WIFI is of no use. The service/staff is not trained to give tourists a good experience. The grill buffet offers different meat, but the cooks do not know how to handle the meat correct.

We spent two nights at this lodge the room and bathroom are spacious but the commun area are very fun down and uninspiring. The pool needs a serious uplift, the food was very low taste and the wine by the glass a disgrace. This place was by far the worst in which we stayed during our 2 weeks in Namibia

Spent two nights here over Christmas and enjoyed the room and facilities very much. We stayed in a brand new chalet and were impressed with the design and comfort. The setting is beautiful with the bush all around and kudu roaming free. There was no WiFi in our room, but sometimes it was available at reception. The restaurant was one of the best we have experienced in Namibia, in particular the fresh cooking stations for meat and stir fry. The breakfast was also to a high standard. There is a also a small shop by reception that sells snacks and drinks at a good price. Our room had a small fridge. We didn’t use the pool but it looks wonderful!
Highly recommended, very close to Anderson gate so a fantastic option as a base to explore Etosha.

Ideal location for travelers aiming to visit Etosha. The rooms are spread in the property giving you a great sense of isolation; they are very clean and well decorated. The village provides breakfast and dinner with many options for meat lovers (not for vegetarians...). Three swimming pools available for some afternoon breaks. The staff is 5 star.

We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff at Etosha Village. We were given a lovely clean campsite with its own private ablution block! 2 shower heads and hot water from a geyser. There are electrical points in these camp sites as well. We recommend you leave your meat at Etosha Village fridges as we had ours confiscated when we were exiting Etosha National Park. We enjoyed beautiful long walks along the side road, the place is well maintained with 24 hour patrolling security.

This review is long overdue, my wife and I tent camped at Etosha Village back Nov, '19. The pools were great, the store very convenient, awesome wildlife at night while camping, showers hot and ablutions very clean. We loved how large these sites were and everyone working there was incredibly nice and helpful.
And that's really what set this place apart. The service was so good, that they went above and beyond to help us thousands of kilometers away. I had accidentally left a leather belt at the site and normally, a belt is a small casualty not to be concerned with, but this particular one had been quite sentimental and something I had worn every single day for 20 years straight. It had more value than being just a "belt" which is hard to describe. Without much hope for its return, we still contacted Etosha Village and they were so incredibly understanding. They found the belt, packaged it up, and shipped it all the way to our home back in the United States without hesitating. When I found the package in the mailbox a couple of months later, I couldn't believe my eyes.
I personally want to thank Samantha Grobler for maintaining such a beautiful resort and fantastic crew. This reflected our entire time in Namibia - we interacted with some of the most incredibly kind people throughout our journey across the country. We are big fans and Etosha Village has gotten customers for life as far as we're concerned.

Very good hotel just a few minutes away from Etosha gate. The only „negative“ about the hotel is the fact that it os outside of the national park so you can only enter Etosha from sunrise to sundown. The hotel itself offers huge and comfortable cabins, perfectly equipped with anti mosquito nets. The restaurant is an outside restaurant offering a large buffet were most of the meat dishes are freshly prepared. The game drive offered (price not included) was great, the driver was highly passionated about his job, had good information an showed very much respect to nature (even stopped the car to collect a wasted can in Etosha)
