Onguma Bush Camp offers 16 rooms and is ideal for families with children. Family loft rooms ensure the kids will have a great safari. The lounge and dining areas overlook a stunning waterhole that affords great opportunities to see nature at play around the clock. You don’t even have to leave the camp to see game – they come to you! What better place to enjoy a sundowner drink.

The camp gate is situated yards outside the Eastern gate of Etosha and is a perfect place to explore this part of the Park. The rondavels we stayed in were large with a good bathroom and two twin beds together as a double. There is a good sized pool and the restaurant and bar

We stayed at the Leadwood campsite which is c. 5min away from the bush camp. Clean campsite with own abolution block, but hidden in the forest and not same scenic location as the bush camp. However, you can use all facilities of the bush camp and enjoy the pool and restaurant

Upgraded from campsite to a chalet. Glad we did as it poured with rain late afternoon. Rooms very well appointed with tea/coffee making facilities. Swimming pool and loungers surrounded by lovely garden. Restaurant over looks small waterhole. Dinner and breakfast very good.

Onguma Bush Camp is literally just outside the gate of Etosha. It’s perfectly as we drove from airport directly and it’s impossible to get into the park in time. Room is clean with comfortable bed and hot shower. Friendly staffs and the great chef did make our stay enjoyable.

Dear Charmaine P, I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Leadwood Campsite. Regarding your experience at the hide, one should remember that during the rainy season animals do not frequent water holes that often due to available water in the bush. I am however surprised by your comments regarding the design of the hide as we had a lot of input from wildlife photographers on the design as well as excellent reviews. I would be interested in your recommendations so please feel free to contact me via Bronwyn at our reservations office. regards,Fritz Vorster

I am looking for a Camping spot 31 August 16 - one Couple please!
Do you have a campsite and what is the cost
Yes - infact we have two campsites. One is a luxury site, Tamboti, with private sites, each with their own ablution and wash-up areas. This site has a lovely restaurant overlooking a waterhole as well as a pool. We also have Leadwood, which is a smaller campsite under lots of shade.
