Unfortunately, we stayed at Onguma Bush Camp for just one night. The place is stunningly beautiful, the staff extremely friendly and the service is extraordinary in every way imaginable. Having a Leopard visiting the Waterhole only meters away whilst enjoying dinner was just the icing on the cake. We will definitely come back!

We have previsously visited Onguma The Fort and we found that it was exceptional, I can say we had high expectations visiting Onguma Bush Lodge. We were not dissapointed , the staff are friendly, helpful and the lodge is stunning. The facilities are great and the waterhole is perfectly situated and maked for beautiful photos.

Room Tip: rooms on the east side are closer to the pool area, we found this perfect for our family.

We opted for the Bush Camp, as we had enough of camping ourselves. The site is very nicely set and the facilities are great. Really enjoyed the pool in the morning and evening. Food war exquisite, especially as the chef catered for vegan as well - and it was done with fantasy and care. The Wi-Fi was however poor and the distance from the next mobile tower to big to benefit. Anyway nature and the perfect service compensated well for this small downside.

Room Tip: We went to this side of the park in the morning and saw almost no animals and headed back West....

Nice premises overall. Our room was spacious and comfy. Pool (although freezing) and eating area are appealing. Staff are well trained and customer friendly. The food (copious breakfast and diner) was delicious! My only negatives would be the game drives, that I found overpriced and disappointing: Sundowner in onguma private reserve was a total miss, R1000 (for 2 incl) just to see a nice sunset with a drink, is a tad too much. So I suggest to pass. Early morning game drive in Etosha was better, but except 2-3 good fortune catches, was nothing to rave about….but after Serengeti(TZ) and Masai Mara(KE), I guess I was bound to be disappointed! All in all, onguma is a great stopover on your Namibian tour, so I recommend!

We spent 2 nights at the bush camp over our Namibian road trip, the hotel is beautiful, the pool and the restaurant have a view on a water point where wild animals come to drink. The room was really clean and nicely decorated. the staff is very welcoming and nice, we had a game drive with them as well we really enjoy our guide! food was excellent. I recommend this hotel
