We stayed here in September and it was very nice. Full hook ups. Back in sites only. Ours was adjacent to the forest and we loved that. Nice trail beside the Carp River and good dog walking, but no off leash park. Driveable convenience to Marquette. We no longer tent camp but if we did, this would be the place. Clean laundry and rest rooms.

I reserved two spots for next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday which are not busy camping days and my husband has to leave for an emergency job out of state. I called five days ahead and let the campground know we needed to cancel. She would NOT refund any of $354 even partially OR give us a credit for another stay. So myself and my parents are out all that money. You do not do people that way. And I was upset and hung up. She had the nerve to call me back to make sure we weren’t coming so she could double dip on those spots and rent them out to someone else. Greedy.

The rustic cabins were comfortable. Wish they had a mini fridge, and were able to control the AC. BUT overall the campground is very well kept, the bathrooms are big, the location is great, and the main office is beautiful. They have a bar and to go food/beverages. They have a little store where you can buy misc things/food.

Check in was quick and efficient. The girls that checked us in were super friendly, went thru all the amenities and rules, and made us feel very welcome. It was pretty easy to get into our site. The outside seating on their deck is beautiful right along the river. They had live music which was so nice. There is three different tiers of seating outisde. They have an outside wood fired pizza oven and the pizza was inexpensive and good. We sat on the deck by the entrance to the pool and hot tub and it looked really nice in that area and lots of families enjoying it. Very best part of it all - 100% dog friendly!!! (Except in the pool!) We were able to bring them with us to listen to the music which we appreciated. I am so impressed with this place and highly recommend it!!

Great 6 night stay with our RV! The RR staff does a phenomenal job of maintaining clean grounds and fantastic service. The resort patio area was awesome! Nothing better then drinks on their back deck watching the river roll by. Our kids LOVED the pool and hot tub which was very well kept and added to the trip. The area offers tons of outdoor recreation options from mountain biking, waterfalls, great hiking trails, and of course Lake Superior is 5mi away. We will definitely be back !!
