The location of the Inn is good, as the main street is short walking distance away. The facility is well-designed, with a light, spare and modern feel. We arrived at ~7 pm to a front desk person who did not us, but rather simply asked our name and asked for credit card and ID. Not welcoming, warm or informative. The ~$450 room was serviceable and clean. The bathroom lighting was poor and there was only one window —- that needed cleaning. The retrofit a/c was noisy and our room was at the stop of the stair where other guests audibly gathered for coffee and water. Would not stay again or recommend.

The Williams Inn is perfectly located to explore Williamstown and the Berkshires (I went to Mass MOCA and the Clark). The bar and restaurant are lovely (food's delicious and bartender is great!). The room was quiet and quietly luxurious. The beds were dreamy and I loved the coffee/water station on each floor. The public spaces and grounds are beautiful and truly - I enjoyed every minute of this stay. Highly recommend!

We stayed her two nights on a college tour. Positive aspects that exceed expectation HOUSEKEEPING! Major complements to the director of housekeeping impeccable in rooms and public areas. Design and architecture is excellent Rooms and bed, bedding, towels and bath amenities lovely Location for walking superb Opportunity for conversing and using a variety of public areas Is terrific. Conversational seating groups inside and out with a great fire pit. Only area that was not satisfactory and inhospitable was the front desk staff. Check in not friendly and check out not friendly. Hotel Could use a few chipper people upon arrival as Sets the tone for the whole experience. Never were we asked how our stay was going over two days. Upon check out not asked again. No “is there anything we could do better” which is customary at most 4-5 star properties. We sent an email to front desk and needed printed documents and there was no phone Call letting us know they were printed and waiting. Nor were they delivered. Again customary at a property of this level for there to be some type of pleasantry and guest interaction. It felt like we were bothering the staff when we asked a question or asked for something. This only applies to front desk. Restaurant and bar staff were friendly!

Beautiful new hotel (opened August 2019). The amenities are amazing -- filtered/sparkling water on tap and fresh coffee on every floor, fresh muffins in the morning, excellent wifi coverage inside and out, great outdoor seating and fire pits, cool restaurant, lots of common areas to relax inside and out. The interior is impeccable. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Lots of in-room amenities like USB outlets, refrigerator, and robes. Very helpful staff. The location cannot be beat -- great coffee shop and many restaurants are less than a 5-minute walk. Only wish was for a pool.

New, architecturally tasteful, venue near downtown Williamstown. Good rooms, good restaurant and bar. Common rooms on first floor for games and drinks are comfortable, Outside Adirondack chairs and tables for drinks and games are a nice touch. Barn door theme throughout including the bathroom doors. Our room view of solar panels was less than inspiring , and the air conditioner was noisy, but otherwise the room was fine. Bartender Gregg was excellent - service with a smile. Inside and outside dining available at reasonable prices. Professional service staff. Coffee, tea and ice bar in 3rd floor hall was appreciated. And, the Inn is now pet-friendly!!!! Also, free parking and local drivers are available for those without rental cars. The cost of a Queen Double is around $350 and makes this hotel mid-range, but close to luxury.
