I was worried about staying here because of the poor reviews, but I will say, it was much better than I thought. The bed did have a‘valley’ on one side that was bad, and what looked like blood stains . That was gross but covered by the pad and sheets. Bathroom was ok. Pretty clean but super tight. Couldn’t open the door if standing in front of the toilet. Employees were super. The gal in the dining area was doing a spectacular job of keeping everything clean!

Booked the hotel well in advance, arrived and was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations and proximity to the BIG E, which we visited today and was on our list of 'to-do's'.
We were efficiently greeted by Caroline at the front desk who was very personable and hospitable. A day later, she assisted me and my wife with printing out some show tickets when I was having trouble connecting to my PC or the the hotel's printer.
She saved the day and was once again happy to help.
All in all the room is clean, comfortable and the bed is nice too. It is a bit noisy since the Mass Pike is just out our window and a toddler could be heard at 1:30 am in the morning from the floor above, but all in all it is a good location and value.
Another bonus is a Tokyo Japanese restaurant attached to the hotel but operated separately. On our first night arrival we dined and experienced a wonderful hibachi cooked and served dinner as good as any we have ever experienced.
All in all a good stay so far.

We were going to the Big E. This is reasonable close and our normal hotel was full. People at the front desk were nice. We were given a first floor room as we requested. Rooms have sliding doors that exit right to the parking lot. This made it easy for us to get our luggage in. Residences were stepping out of there rooms and smoking outside. The lawn was covered in beer bottle caps and cigarette butts. The rear entrance door has a combo lock, but don't worry about the code, the door does close and lock. Inside the hallway, walls are scrapped and marred. Walking to our room we ran into loud music, a door open to the room and a small party going on. Arriving at our room we found the room larger than our normal hotel. Inside the room the beds were comfortable, sheets were clean. Four pillows on a full sized bed made it pleasant to sit up and read a book. The refrigerator was a larger unit and kept items cold and frozen. The refrig looked like it was dropped off a truck. The furniture had the same bet up look. The bathroom was adequate in size. One sink was outside the bathroom, one inside. The toilet was very low and often continued to run after flushing. I had to lift the lid and fix the flapper. The bath tub looked like an attempt was made to repaint the enamel finish. The repair did not work and a bath was out of the question. Water pressure from the shower head was terrible. It was like washing under a dripping garden hose. The water was hot. Towels were clean and ample number were provided. The tissue box was not filled. The room did not have many electrical outlets. Most were used by the room lights and alarm clock. I did not feel safe outside my room at night and would not recommend this hotel based on the need for a serious renovation.

We needed a pet friendly hotel for one night. It was for my granddaughter, husband, our small dog and myself. This hotel looked really nice from the pictures, didn’t have any bedbug reports and the first reviews I read were good. Their website had a good members price but I found a better one on Priceline. I called the hotel to see what price they would give me. Their quoted price was more than their website and they wouldn’t honor Priceline even though their website had a guaranteed lowest/price match. The desk clerk said that wasn’t true and he couldn’t find that info on their website. I called the main reservation line for the hotel chain. I was quoted a higher price than on their own website. I told her what the website price was so she honored that. We were to get a two queen bed room that was recently renovated. The hotel is run down but clean. The entire first floor is some kind of govt run half way house for parolees or homeless people. Our room was not recently updated. The bed linens and bathroom linens were fine. The bathroom was clean and a big shower. The desk and table was all chipped up. The inside of the microwave had peeling paint on the inside. If this was not a non refundable room we would have left. I think it should be mandatory for the hotel to let people know there is a halfway house inside the hotel. Only my husband left the room to take our pet outside. He wasn’t comfortable doing it. This hotel is not what it is advertised to be.

Plenty of storage. Room service appropriately priced. Housekeeping doesn't always speak English but they will replenish towels and sheets, but will heavily bang on the door. Not remote worker friendly. Balconies are decent but not cleaned. Respond well when SA occurs, we're quick to hand WSPD the footage. Felt safe there even though that happened to my mom and the deadbolt lock snapped with my kid in the room. Actually pet friendly. Descent breakfast bar. Bathroom leaked through the wall and balcony doors can be rough to open but we've been to worse since being displaced from a house fire.

I am a preferred cold member with Choice Hotels and booked this room fair and square weeks ago. My travel plans changed after the cancellation time but the clerk at the front desk, Katie listened patiently to my situation and overwrote the cancellation policy so I could get a full refund on my room!. The extent of the service provided to me is simply a member of the public at this location would have me considered this location every time I go to the West Springfield area. The parking lot was large but there were lots of people coming in and out who appeared homeless or very down and out. There was trash on the lawn outside of the balcony windows that did not get picked up for the 3 days we were at the hotel. The hotel lobby was clean and staffed by welcoming people. The elevator was old and wobbly. The hallway of our 4th floor room was heavily perfumed with air fresheners, trying to cover up the pot smell. The room was clean, except for under the bed. The bathroom door would not close, the sheer curtain were in tatters under the drapes and there was a lot of chipping on the desk and table. Otherwise the room was pretty nice. The bathroom was remodeled and the fridge and microwave were clean. The pool area was clean, but I could not get in. The door needed a code that I did not have. Someone in the pool area let me in. The pool was well- maintained and stocked with towels but the floor around it was uneven and very slippery. The area really needs some outdoor carpeting. The breakfast was good and well stocked . My biggest concern was that the hotel was running a halfway house in the first floor, so there were a lot of scary people coming in and out of the hotel. The parking lot did not seem safe and I was concerned about the type of people that were housed in the hotel. They looked and acted like druggies and ex-cons. If I had known that it was this type of place, I would NEVER have booked. It is not the type of place I would bring my family for a vacation. This hotel should not be running a homeless shelter and still accepting guests. If they want to run this type of business, then it should be disclosed before payment and there should be a 24 hour visible security presence. Even though I gave 2 stars, it should really be 1 because of the safety issue. I gave 2 because the staff are very nice and the hotel was fairly clean. I would never stay here again or recommend it based on the halfway house on the first floor. It is one thing to be helping out refugee families or disaster victims, but this seemed like a post-prison situation.

This hotel is close to the highway the road sound is unbelievably disturbing the glass on windows and balconies are not double glazed. In our room the bathroom door didn't close and was dark with one large lamp not working.
Front desk was condensing suggesting they couldn't move the highway for us rather than saying anything decent to counter what I mentioned about the room quality.
I wouldn't give a single star to this hotel based how much I paid, quality of room and customer service at the front desk.
If you expect something reasonable for your money this is not for you.

The hotel was ok. Keep in mind—it is an old building. Old room (quite spacious though) with newer shower, sink, toilet, carpet, TV. Nice dimmable lighting above beds. Older furniture.
The hotel has a pool that was fun to use (the pool is on an older side but is well maintained). We had a good time in the pool! If you have time, check it out. Open 10 to 10.
Free breakfast varied day by day. Day 1 we had to ask multiple times (and ultimately had to go to the manager) to replenish hot items—eggs and potatoes. We got to the breakfast room at 8:35A with breakfast advertised to be served until 9:00A, so it was not right for them to refuse to replenish food. Day 2 the hot items were available. Breakfast room was old.
The room has a balcony but the glass door did not work. And the entire glass window/wall was quite old.
The building hosts the hotel and another organization. We by chance went into that organization’s territory and were told it was private property and we needed to leave, which is no problem at all. Just make sure to not go where it is not Quality Inn’s part.
Has laundry facilities for hotel guests.
Has Japanese restaurant. We didn’t get a chance to eat there so cannot help you re food.
Has room service delivery. We didn’t use it.

Had family in town for a funeral. Stressed about hosting everyone at our house, I found this place. Staff was helpful making recommendations, couldn't beat the rate and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. The pool looked nice. I would definitely use again, everything about it was convenient.
