Can’t sleep and wish I was home. Thought the sheets were clean at first but when I opened them more I found otherwise. Not taking a picture because I’m trying to keep the filth covered and away from me. Do have a picture of the cobweb, stain on the rug and cigarette burn on the spread.

The room we stayed in smelled musty and the carpet was damp. It also had dark mold spots on the ceiling.

After driving 2000 miles across the country. This was the worst place i have ever stayed in my entire hotel/motel experience. Must have taken a year off my life checking my car every few minutes. Staff was excellent rooms are excellent. Just beware. Had to call police dispatch 2/3 exhausted and miserable.

My wife and I were staying for one night and we chose the "nicer" $120 non-smoking room. When I checked in, the girl behind the counter was chatting with the people in front of me. They had finished checking in and were just chatting. Even though I was obviously waiting, she just kept talking to them about nothing important for at least 5 more minutes.
Half the rooms on our hall were smoking and half were non-smoking. Some of the smoking rooms were right across from or next to non-smoking. The carpet was very old and dirty and the hall stank of stale smoke. One of the steps up to the second floor was visibly crumbling. The seal around the tub was dirty and moldy. The tv was very old and small and the picture was very poor. The window looked out on a wall 5 feet away.
None of the rooms in the motel have a refrigerator nor was there an ice machine. I asked at the front desk if they had any plastic spoons or knives-- they did not. We had brought sodas and had to drink them warm and had to throw our food out the next day.
Other than all that, the room itself was fine. Seemed pretty clean, the bed was comfortable enough, and the free wi-fi worked well.

I stayed at this hotel in May 2006 with my girlfriend for 3 nights. While the room itself was satisfactory, it was far from clean which is why I would not recommend it. When we first checked in, we found prior guests snack foods on the floor (i.e. cheese puffs & gummy bears). It was quite obvious to us they never vacuumed the floor after the prior guests departed. They also never cleaned the tub; there were hairs on it from the prior guests. Taking a bath would have been out of the question! On our second day, they never even bothered to empty the garbage! I also went to go to sleep one night and when I pulled up the comforter, it had some sticky substance on it. That was not too pleasing an experience. On the plus side, check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. The rooms are for the most part up to date but could use some remodeling. Our room was without the coffee maker. When my girlfriend alerted the front desk, they stated allot of the rooms are missing them. I guess some people like to steal $5 coffee makers. :) I can't recommend this hotel though overall due to the fact it is not too clean.

Needed to find a stop over place headed through Springfield area, not too many choices last minute. Booked this place and what a mistake. I would not risk the safety of my children and never left the car. About 10 young men just hanging out in front drinking and smoking.

Myself and son travel extensively throughout New England due to a rigorous hockey schedule. We found ourselves without a room on a busy holiday weekend. We were in New Hampshire headed to Springfield for a Sunday game. After striking out with other hotels I called this econo lodge and asked room availability and was told he had 3 rooms left. I asked if I could reserve one and I was told first come first serve. I pleaded with the gentleman but he would not take my card. He asked my name I told him and he said he would save a room. Two hours later we arrived and much to our relief we got a room. Upon opening the door a waft of mold smell hit us in the face. The room was out dated and the visible mold on the walls should be cleaned. The TV was funny looking. I think we had one of those in the 70s. The only positive was the bathroom was clean. We will avoid this motel at all costs In the future.

Due to last minute plans and no other availability in the area we stayed at the Econo Lodge. Overall convenience to other areas was good. Dining is readily available from any number of chain restaurants. The hotel is OK but there are better choices. Rooms toward the back on the first level are built into the rising ground level. It felt like we were in the basement. The mattress was old & hard, blanket had holes. Staff was accommodating when there was a noise issue.

"The room we stayed in smelled musty" That also describes our room, but the worst part of our experience was the surly, angry and abrasive staff folks we dealt with. All of whom refused to give us their names.

Booked a room a few weeks ahead of stay in the area.
Arrived at 3:45p and room was not ready. Finally got in at 4:10 only to hurry to pee and the toilet was plugged up. Got the guy that didn't speak English to come unplug it.
There was black duck tape covering missing floor tiles in the bathroom. The bottom of the tub was black and had many cracks. Hot water was tepid at best. Got up to use the bathroom in the morning and the toilet was yet again plugged :(
There must be several non american folks living at the hotel. There were several of their kids running everywhere with a few adults hanging out. 2 school buses dropped off kids as we were waiting to get in room.
On the plus side. The gal at the front desk was kind and the coffee was really Good!
