I love going to the D.Hotel and Spa!
I go as often as I can for a quick get away.
The facility has the nicest staff, the hotel is immaculate and the convenience of the restaurant and bar next door is great.
I know when I go there I will be treated like I am valued. Like I matter to them.
It’s nice to have a place to go to for a little R & R as a couple when we need time away but don’t want to travel far.
I love The fact that it’s centrally located to shopping whether at the Holyoke Mall or just a few miles from Amherst and Northampton. Makes outings easier to plan as there is Lots to do; or just sit back and unwind in their pool or hot tub. (Due to covid restrictions prohibit use of hot tub - but the pool was inviting)
The staff makes you feel like you are part of their family and are very careful to provide a safe and extremely clean environment especially while following Covid-19 Protocol.
Their breakfast quiche is one of my favorite staples and we love that you don’t have to jump out of bed at 6am to participate in continental breakfast. It’s available later than most other hotels.
I honestly can’t say enough about this place.
You can tell the owners and staff maintain this facility inside and out and take pride in it!
I hate leaving but I enjoy looking forward to my next get away weekend just the same!

we had requested an accessible room and were very pleased with the accomodation. the room was a short distance past the front desk, quite large in a suite style with a large bathroom and walkin shower,
staff was responsive and courteous; very good value for the price;
We stayed for 2 nights; Due to non-contact rules, no one came to clean during our stay. per instructions, if we needed extra towels, toilet paper, etc, we could contact front desk and they would leave items at our door for retrieval.

Room was clean and quiet. No interest in allowing me to extend my stay by an hour so that I could return from a business appointment. Wanted to charge $60.00 per hour. Breakfast eggs were cold. This hotel is obviously run by a small hotelier and caters to local residents. I do not recommend this hotel.

The staff is friendly at this privately owned hotel in Holyoke, MA. Less than 20 min. From Amherst, Springfield, Northampton, and Easthampton. Free Breakfast is fresh, both hot and cold. The pool is lovely. Water bottles available at the front desk. Ice machines on every floor. Rocking chairs are on the veranda, and the hotel is connected to Delaney House, an excellent steakhouse with other delicious comfort food. (Often hosting wedding, bar/bar mitzvah, and graduation celebrations.) Extra special touches are Starbucks coffee in the room and Bath and Bodyworks toiletries in the bathrooms.
We have been here a week for the birth of our youngest daughter’s first son. (She and husband live nearby.) We couldn’t be more pleased with the accommodations.

While the room décor might be a bit heavy for my taste, I can overlook that because everything else was great. We booked the private in room dining and walked into our one bedroom suite to find a very pretty table set us to order in from the adjacent restaurant. It's a super easy process - the menus were already on the table, we ordered via the house phone and the food came within 30 minutes perfectly hot and pretty delicious. The room was very clean, the king bed comfortable and the check in quick and covid safe. The breakfast the next morning was surprisingly decent and we brought it back to enjoy at our little in room table.
Perfect location to enjoy window shopping in Northampton one day and hiking at Mt Tom just next door. Really a great mini vacation that felt very safe during covid - especially being able to dine on good quality restaurant food in the comfort and privacy of our own room.

Our stay at D. Hotel Suites and Spa was great. We got married October 2021 and got a block of rooms for our guests and wedding party, including ourselves and it was a very nice, accommodating stay. The suite we had was spacious, cozy, clean and practical. I even got the pleasure of seeing my other guests’ rooms whilst visiting our wedding party and they were also very clean, spacious and practical. The entire hotel feels very inviting. From my first interaction at the front desk, to the day we left, everyone was very helpful. Breakfast was included and it was great. Hot food and with Covid, everything was handled nicely so you got to enjoy yourself, but you felt safe at the same time.
After our wedding, when we got back to our room, they had left a complimentary bottle of champagne with 2 glass flutes, a congratulatory note and even left a lovely towel display on our bed and it was just the nicest way to end our wedding day. You felt the attention to detail and the genuine attitude of the hotel. Beds--very comfortable. Some of our guest’s room had fireplaces, which was very nice and added that cozy touch everyone was looking for.
Overall, if you are looking for a nice place to stay while on vacation, honeymoon, anniversary, etc. this is the place to go. Right outside if the Delaney house and the food there is great. Highly would recommend, especially for weddings, but will definitely be a place for us to go again just to relax and enjoy.

The hotel staff was friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet had good choices, was hot and fresh. Masks were required in public spaces and hand sanitizer was available if needed.

It seems like this hotel has lost its luster. Once a great hotel is now reduced to a motel feeling hotel. Employees at the front desk had cancelled my reservation, and when asked why, they said they have another guy with the same name and they thought it was his. The stay was okay... I paid extra for the romantic room, with rose pedals. The rose pedals they put out were fake rose pedals.... Come on!!! Overall staying there was like staying at at Motel 6, wouldnt recommend spending 200+ dollars on this over rated hotel. Go and spend your money on Sheraton, or Marriot.

We do truly regret the confusion over a shared name, and we apologize again! We are sorry too that you were dissatisfied with the quality of service- such an experience is not our usual standard, and we are surprised to be compared with a chain motel. It is a true statement that we use silk petals, we find they are something guests can collect and keep should they want to commemorate a special evening with us. We were up in Western MA for a family wedding. We had 2 two-queen rooms and family member had a suite. Overall the service and people are outstanding. Noah at the front desk checked us in and we had a number of other interactions with him and he was excellent! The rooms were fine and comfortable (mastering the AC thermostat on the wall took a bit but it was fine once we did!). The complimentary breakfast was great although the space could be a bit bigger. We were hoping for something other than warm donuts to go with our eggs and ham on Sunday morning (we had French toast on Saturday), but there were plenty of other options to choose from. The two people handling the breakfast seemed to always be in constant motion refilling trays, making coffee or just keeping things clean. That is one thing we saw all weekend - the staff never stops. Whether it was cleaning and vacuuming the lobby, making up the rooms, or answering questions no one is standing around idle.
I understand that within the past week new ownership has taken over. The one thing that I would suggest to them is consider a "refresh" and give a little TLC to some of the common areas like new carpeting and even new furniture in the rooms. Everything is clean and tidy, but things are starting to show their age which is a common at hotels that handle alot of people and events.
I would not hesitate to recommend the D Hotel to my family and friends heading up to that part of Western MA and I would certainly stay there again myself.

Hello and thank you for finding interest in our hotel. Breakfast hours for weekdays (Mon-Fri) are 6AM - 9:30AM, and weekends (Sat-Sun) are 7AM-10:30AM.
We offer daily specials such as fresh breakfast sandwiches Tuesday mornings, made-to-order omelets on Wednesday mornings, and gourmet quiche pies Friday - Monday mornings.
