Hotel's Favourite
I found the staff friendly, the king bed was very comfortable, I appreciated the buffet breakfast, and the hotel was just a 10 minute drive from Hampshire College. I was a bit worried on my last day that I might not be able to get an Uber, but after a few minutes one was assigned to me.

Moving my son to UMass fast and furious and we decided to stay here for 6 days. Clean, clean, clean! You guys have it together. Seriously! My husband, son and I had 2 queen bed suite. Loved having the living room with extra tv. Bedroom was spacious. Bathroom was nice. Everything seemed new and in very good condition. Love having a kitchen too with microwave and refrigerator. WiFi worked great. Beds are comfy.
Attentive staff, we had a bad tv remote even with new batteries. Problem solved within minutes with new remote.
Enough room to assemble shelves and buy stuff for the dorm room, staff was helpful, so many food options around, grocery stores, close to the university and highways.
This should be our landing spot visiting for the next 4 years while he’s in school.
Pandemic tidbits: social distancing, masks required in hotel, no hot breakfast but they have to go bags, housekeeping doesn’t come everyday unless you request it during pandemic, still got new towels and such when needed. Rooms are left vacant for 24 hours in between guests to allow for maximum cleaning efforts and safety.
Thanks for the great stay!

We had the pleasure of staying at this facility as we passed through Amherst on a week long road trip. The hotel is very new, very clean and the staff are all friendly and very helpful. We were in need of a pair of wine glasses and Hunter, the manager on duty, not only tracked some down but made sure to wash and polish them befor letting us use them. He was committed to making sure we totally enjoyed our evening!

Great place near Amherst, very clean and tidy. Rooms are spacious and notwithsstanding is next to a major road is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is good and I like that they do not use plastic silverware compared to other hotels where other chains do not seem to care much about all the waste. Employees are kind, most of them. Good experience overall

We stayed in a king suite and an adjoining one bedroom. It may sound like a splurge, but since we haven’t traveled much for the last 2 years and the room rate here is super reasonable, we went ahead. The suites are spacious - the living room for the one bedroom is huge - and the kitchens are full kitchens, with stovetop, dishwasher, a full size fridge, and microwave. Breakfast is included, with 3 hot dishes daily (usually one egg dish, one meat, and a starch) and the standard breakfast affairs (coffee/tea, juice yogurt, oatmeal). The highlight is the waffle iron - we made our own waffles every morning and the kids loved it. Frankly, the grownups loved it too!
The hotel is located at the back of a shopping area, and is about 200 feet from an Aldi supermarket. Walmart, Whole Foods, and Traders Joe’s are across the street and totally walkable. There are a couple fast food style restaurants in the building in front of the hotel, serving paninis and poke. There are more restaurants in Walmart area. With those and the stove, we did not need to order food from the hotel at all.
The hotel feels clean and very well maintained. Each room is heated/cooled with its own heat pump and not through a central air duct. The only airflow is the vent in the bathroom, slowing but constantly sucking air out of the bathroom. It feels like we are not sharing air with other rooms and this is important during a pandemic with an airborne virus. With the Hilton app, we didn’t even need to stop by the front desk for checking in and out, but the staff was always friendly and helpful when we did need them.
If I am in the area in the future, I will definitely stay here again.

Our son attends Amherst College and the Homewood Suites Hadley has become our preferred home-away-from home when visiting the area. We’ve even had our son stay with us at the hotel when recuperating from knee surgery. The hotel is newer and always immaculate with a spacious lobby and breakfast/meeting area. Workout room and pool are great as well. The staff is friendly, responsive and professional. The rooms are quite large and well furnished and the room pricing is very competitive. Our favorite place to stay!

My boys (ages 13 & 11) stayed here for 5 days while attending a hockey camp at UMass. We really enjoyed our stay here. Parking is free and there are a number of stores and restaurants within walking distance (including Aldi, Starbucks, Chipotle, and a couple local restaurants). Staff were very helpful! They were able to get me change for laundry and when the battery to our room lock died and we were in a rush to get the hockey gear out of our room, they had maintenance up to our room within minutes. Life saver! Beds were comfortable and our room was huge! We had a suite with kitchen, two queens, and a pull out sofa bed, so we each had our own bed. A couple things we weren't fond of: 1. No hot tub and 2 the bathroom sink is separate from the shower and toilet. While this is great during the day, it sucks to have to turn the light on to get ready when others are trying to sleep. Not much the hotel can do about that though without renovations. I would like to have seen more variety at breakfast. It got repetitive after 5 days and I wish the house keeping staff would have left new sheets and blankets for the sofa bed each time they took it down to clean. Clearly, we were using it. Yet, whenever they came by they took it down but didn't leave sheets. I would have to call it stop by the front desk each time to ask for stuff. This seemed weird to me. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it for anyone staying in the UMass area. Campus is only about 5mins away!

We used to love this hotel. While we love dogs/pets/animals, my husband is extremely allergic and has asthma. Surprise! This hotel now allows dogs. Our room smelled of wet dog and my husband almost went to urgent care because he coughed nonstop for over an hour. Fortunately, I brought his inhaler and we fumigated the room using a mixture of vinegar and water. Housekeeping barely cleaned the room. You must get a top floor room but even then, you can hear everything in the hallways and every bump. Sadly, we will not return to this property.

Great location. Clean and new. Rooms are very spacious and greatly appointed. Perfect for a big family. Breakfast was wonderful, great selection of foods from cereal, bagels, make your own waffle bar, fruit, yogurt bar, and hot dishes. Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate 24hrs a day (KIDS LOVED!)

Well maintained hotel and exceptionally clean. Room was spotless and tastefully decorated. Only issue with the room was a noticeable lack of usb charging ports; only two for a one-bedroom suite. Food service was poor compared to my pre-COVID experiences, breakfast was more what I would expect from budget accommodations and there was no evening reception, one of my favorite features of the brand before the pandemic. I’ll be unlikely to use Homewood until that feature is restored and will likely opt for Hampton Inn without the enhanced breakfast and evening reception when using Hilton in the future.

I did stay at this hotel which is brand new. I had very good internet service, but I do not know what the speed was, or if the room was wired for an Ethernet connection. Call the hotel.
This is a very nice Homewood suites.
