One thing that distinguishes the Viking Shores is that the room rate includes Continental breakfast – you can have your fill of croissants, banana bread, fresh fruit, milk and cereal, and coffee and tea to your heart’s content. While there are some competing properties on the Lower Cape that offer a Continental breakfast, most don’t offer the wide selection that the Viking Shores does, in as welcoming an environment. The property has 40 rooms; in-season rack rates start at $162 per night, and there is a 20% discount with AAA. AARP, or if you are in the military. Managers Alan Carrier and Kate Krapivina will take great care of you and offer a personal touch to make the most of your stay. The rooms themselves are quite clean, with refrigerators and hair dryers included as well. The location is superior – right on Route 6 in Eastham, only five minutes from the stunning sands of Nauset Light Beach and Coast Guard Beach). Coast Guard Beach is rated among world-famous Dr. Beach’s Top Ten Beaches in America…

The accommodation may be a little dated but the staff could not be more accommodating and this really means a lot and makes up for a lot. Thanks for making us feel welcome. Great breakfast too! And an excellent location at a reasonable price - what more could you need.

The hotel was priced ok but very outdated and dirty rooms. They never cleaned. No broom in room to sweep yourself. Stained walls, tub, black mold in bathroom, bugs, yuck.........bad smell, ac didnt work well at all. Needs improvement. Pool decent and breakfast good thats about it.

Viking Shores is a great little motel on route six about 1 mile from the Wellfleet drive-in. It’s right at a traffic light so you can actually make a left onto the highway. The rooms are basic, but plenty of space – – a mini fridge, coffee, maker, desk, table and chairs, good TV, and chaise lounge. The proprietor Alan and staff Daria are super nice people and went out of their way to answer questions for us. He even switched our reservation date at the last minute to accommodate us. Hubby said the pool was good too – – warm and 8 feet deep at the end. They are right on the rail trail so terrific for a bike ride or a walk. This is a very quiet, old-fashioned and lovely kind of spot. We will be back!

We stayed here for two days during the Wellfleet Sprint. The property was a. clean b. perfectly located for travel to the tip of the the Cape. and c. the staff was willing to please customers. After COVID many - not all - of the inns only use housekeeping for multiple days of the consumer requests that service. We found this Inn well worth the money and the breakfast that was offered was great to start the day. The Inn was quiet and we felt secure. The price made our visit to the Cape an joyable without breaking the bank. Excellent people.

We had a few changes to our dates and the owner was great with adjusting our reservations as needed. The rooms are large and very clean, the beds are firm (which we prefer) and the location is perfect. Great water pressure for much needed hot showers after all the walking we did around the Cape. We heard no traffic sounds even though they are off a main road, they are located far enough away so no issue with that, as someone else left in a review. The pool is clean, and lovely to have coffee at in the morning, along with breakfast breads provided (and other breakfast items) included with the stay. This place is exactly what we needed for this vacation, we will be returning again next year : )

We had a good stay at Viking Shores. The price was reasonable. The rooms were a bit dated (older furnishings and brass lighting) but the room was clean. It was in a great location—close to many beaches and about 1/2 an hour from Provincetown. Viking Shores provided a reasonable breakfast which included cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt and coffee.

Stayed at the motel for a business trip. Woke up after 1 night with bites. Checked out when we found a bug on our pillow and a group of bugs on the wall and ceiling above the bed. Informed the manager of the infestation. Although he agreed to a refund, he did not. Very disappointed. Beware.

First off, we got a very very good rate booking thru Tripadviser, on the dates and location we booked $329 for 3 nights which was good for memorial day weekend. The room was big w/ 2 double beds good for 4. A little dusty floor like when a room hasn't been used in a while but I guess the whole area was dusty being just beside the highway. Went to Ptown, Chatham and Nantucket on our trip. Only complaint is that the room WAS NOT CLEANED DURING OUR STAY, we came home late to find the room as we left it, went to the office to complain, was told we didn't put the "clean our room" sign...ok. 2nd day, still not cleaned even with the said sign on the door, came back to find fresh towels on the chair outside together w/ the "clean our room" sign...was told the wind must have blown the sign down so didn't get cleaned. again. Continental Breakfast was nice, with lots of pastries, cereals, yogurts, coffee but no water (dispenser was broken). Would stay again if and only if after making sure there was cleaning service. Otherwise, look elsewhere.…
