We stayed at this Inn for 4 nights recently, for a wedding event in the area. It is centrally located, right off the Mass pike. Lots of shopping and food in the immediate area. Hotel and rooms are clean and convenient. Staff was accommodating, although with Covid-19 practices, we saw far fewer staff than we would normally encounter. They did a good job substituting in-room breakfast for the normal buffet. Only comment ( not really a complaint) is that the AC was a little noisy at night. Rooms were otherwise very quiet from outside noise or inside noise.

Visiting our daughter in Easthampton for a week and needed roomy accommodations. The local Fairfield Inn and Suites close to her house was booked up, so we chose the Residence Inn in Chicopee, about 25 minutes away. Could not be happier. The king suite was spacious with a large living area and desk work space, full kitchen amenities, and very comfortable bed/bedding. Hot breakfast available each day. Others have complained about “highway” noise but we did not hear it, even though our room faced the back which is tree lined (and the highway beyond the trees). Good location for grocery shopping, gas, restaurants, etc. Impeccably clean and well maintained property. Extremely comfortable for longer stays. We’ll be back!

We stayed at this hotel 3 different times while relocating here from out of state. The hotel was prefect for us – and the staff made it ideal. With several last minute changes to our reservations due to home closing delays due to weather, the front desk staff were MORE than adaptable. The Mon-Wed meal nights were great – service was great and food was unique. A special shout-out to Genesis who really helped us feel welcomed and important. Great location close to shopping, dining, and the interstates (90 and 91…). Walking distance to a few great dining options along the highway. Highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for 3 nights. When I arrived the front desk told me breakfast was from 7-10 so we got down there at 9:30 and it was 6-9 so we had to purchase our own breakfast. Annoying but not a huge deal. Also that morning the cleaning people actually opened our door at 7 AM!! When I went down to ask what time they start cleaning occupied rooms she said around 11. It was our one day to sleep in and they about gave us a heart attack. Also annoyed a hotel like this charged me $510 for a night...I stayed at the Ritz in Boston for way less after I left. I get it's busy and I truly had few options but come on. And it's not a great area. I appreciated that Buffalo Wild Wings was nearby and a few other things but overall you aren't going for a late night walk. Also there was quite a bit of the smell of smoke in the hotel on my floor. I told someone working and they said if it continues to call. What? So basically it was ok. Lots of little things sort of added up for me to not make it great.

My Husband and I booked a suite. There were stains on the couch. The carpeting was worn and looked old and dirty. The bed was hard, and the pillows were hard. What happened to the Marriot? The Marriot always had such plush comfortable beds, pillows and bedding...I remember very well because honestly The Marriot's had the best beds and pillows. . If that's not bad enough the bathroom is so outdated with a a step-in tub with a shower curtain. Gone are the little guest shampoos conditioners body lotions hair caps now you just pay more and get less. Generic shampoo and conditioner for all to use. The bathroom vanity area light was ridiculously bright that it hurt my eyes when trying to put my makeup on. The worst part of this stay was my Husband, and I were up most of the night sneezing, come to find out all the rooms at this Marriot are pet friendly I wish I would have seen that on their web site. After telling the staff that we were having major allergy issues they responded that the next time just give them a heads up to clean the room better. They might want to start with getting rid of the carpets and cloth coaches. The Marriott allows 2 dogs per room.

My family and I stayed at the Residence Inn for an extended period and it was a great experience. The room was very clean and spacious. The housekeeping staff was very conscientious and the management team kept the hotel running smoothly even during COVID. The hotel was very clean and the staff kept the property well kept during snow and ice storms. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast staff were friendly and made breakfast delicious and homey. The location is perfect, just moments from the Mass Pike. Restaurants are within walking distance. The pool, laundry and gym area are all clean and well kept. The management clearly takes pride in their hotel. If you are looking for a hotel in Western Mass, I highly recommend this hotel.

I was happy with all aspects of my stay. The hotel has easy access from the Highway and was easy to find. Checkin was smooth and I had a room on the fourth floor. I brought my food but noted a number of restaurants within view of my room. The kitchen had everything I needed and the seating area was comfortable. The bed was comfortable, linens were crisp and the room darkened completely. It was also quiet.

The shower had strong pressure and towels were sturdy. The parking lot was well lit; I was never concerned going out to my car in the evening. Breakfast in the morning included a variety of items including proteins and fresh fruit.

I’d definitely stay again if in the area.

We stayed here during our hockey tournament and we were very happy with the studio we booked and stayed in.
A very spacious and clean room with comfortable beds, sufficient breakfast and a very nice staff. We will happily come back next time we are in the area.

Positives - We were here for two nights and I could not believe how quiet our room was. We were on the first floor, near the entrance to the parking lot with the exit from Route 90 outside and we never heard a single noise! We may have been lucky with the rooms around us but it was great. The room was clean and met our requirements. The hotel was also centrally located.

Negatives - Our room was worn. The mirror on the bathroom door was warped and almost falling off and it looked like the bathroom door had been cut off at the bottom but not painted (that was the only thing we could come up with). Hot breakfast options were limited and leaned toward high fat and unhealthy. The fitness room did not have any way of wiping down the equipment after use.

The hotel met our need but there should be attention to the shape the rooms are in with an eye to updating the worn out ones. They should also look at the hot breakfast options.

I travel for work and lately my hotel stays have been not great due to lack of staffing (long lines to check in, dirty rooms, etc.) Not here! My room was spotless, check in was a breeze and the staff was top notch. The breakfast was wonderful as well, with lots of options and to-go containers available. They even had papers available which you can never get at hotels anymore!
