Comfortable room, great breakfast, the kids had fun in the pool. However, the AC in our room wouldn't turn off and the room was very cold. When I called the front desk for help, the staff person wasn't helpful at all.

We were attending the Big E from out of state and chose not to stay in downtown Springfield. This hotel is only about 10 or 15 minutes away, which was convenient, and a little more reasonably priced than similar lodging closer to the Big E in Springfield and West Springfield. Fellow at check-in was very pleasant and room was typical for Hampton Inn and clean. Breakfast, however, was sorely lacking. We went down about 90 minutes before it was due to end, and most of the items were empty. The case holding bread/muffins had literally one end piece of bread in it, baskets for fruit were empty. Nothing was replenished and we did not see any employee in the area. There was an open door to a kitchen area off the breakfast area, and several other guests looked in to find staff for assistance, but as mentioned, we saw no staff members during our time in breakfast area.

We stayed here in the Past, but we stayed here again recently, so I have an update. Yes, we are still in the Pandemic, but Vaccinations are actively happening at this time, and things are improving regarding the Pandemic restrictions in some cases. So, this stay at the Hotel still has some restrictions or amenities that are left out or not the same as "normal" times. They say that they give you Breakfast, and they do indeed give you Breakfast, but it's a paper box with only a small Yogurt and a Wheat Bagel and Cream Cheese in it, and they give you a free small bottle of Orange Juice and that is it, nothing else, no Hot Breakfast at all and nothing appealing, but more of a disappointment in my opinion. There is fortunately a "Big Y", which is a very big Grocery Store right across the parking lot that you can walk over to and buy your own stuff to have in your room, but be careful of buying too much for a small Refrigerator, but the hotel's mini Refrigerators have a tiny Freezer box in them, which does help, we had to take one of the removeable racks out and set it aside in the room in order to store a container of Milk in the Refrigerator. The Rooms have a mini refrigerator and mini Microwave, so if you stay here and Breakfast means something to you, bring/buy your own stuff to store in your Room.
I gave this Hotel 4 stars only because it was very clean, they seem to really care to keep it clean, although you don't get Housekeeping services as normal, but if you need it, then they will give it to you, otherwise they give you a clean room to start out with, but then afterwards you take out your own trash and make your own bed and keep your space clean and neat on your own during your stay. Since the Pandemic, I have no problem maintaining my own space, and I actually bring my own cleaning products. I also bring my own Towels to use each day, but will use their Towels on the last day of my stay, so that I don't need to ask for anything extra.
The Beds were comfortable, but this Hotel in every aspect can use a complete modernized makeover upgrade in its decoration and style, but it is clean, which is important regardless; and the staff is friendly and will do their best to help a guest with necessary requests that they can accommodate.
Anyway, we were creative in our room by using an empty drawer to store some of our non-perishable snacks, and it worked since we had no cabinets in the room. Also the Bathroom has no Towel Racks nor a place to store your Toiletries, but we were creative and used a big bag that we stored underneath the big open space under the Sink area for our Toiletries, and there is plenty of counter space as well, and all worked out to be fine for our stay. We would stay here again if in the area, although this place can use a makeover it was still a pleasant and peaceful and clean stay.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and always friendly. The hotel beyond met my expectations for cleanliness. There were hand sanitizer machine and Lysol wipes everywhere along with social distancing signs. Breakfast was hit and very tasty. Our rooms was spotless, extremely comfortable bed and the shower water pressure was amazing!!

We arrived to discover that even though I had a Travelocity reservation confirmation for this property, that reservation did not "get through" to the hotel. On a very busy weekend the front desk receptionist worked with us to provide very nice rooms at a price that better reflected the discounts and honors program than the Travelocity reservation. We arrived exhausted but were met with such kindness (and a bottle of cold water!) that we immediately felt refreshed and ready to move forward with our family plans. Throughout our stay every staff member we encountered was pleasant and professional. We will definitely return for future family visits.

Great location and great staff. Hotel is very clean and is well appointed. Very nice free breakfast in the morning - a lot to choose from from hot items to waffles to cereals and fruit and yogurt. Room was one of the best I've ever stayed in - comfortable, clean and quiet. Good lighting in the room, nice workspace, great wi-fi speed. Ample parking in a well lit parking lot. I'd definitely stay there again upon return.

I have historically enjoyed Hampton Inns for short stays/stopovers. Given Covid, my concern was cleanliness and feeling safe, which they accomplished. We were in a standard KING room, which was spacious, clean and "sealed" after cleaning. In addition to the bed, there was a desk/chair and one additional comfy chair. Given that restaurants are closed, I would have liked the hotel to add a TABLE (even a small one!) in the room, since we had to order delivery/take out in order to eat. The desk might be fine for a solo traveler but with two people in the room, there was no second option for eating at a table. We had never been to this town and when we asked the front desk person for recommendations for food, his answer was "Do you want Chinese or pizza?" After we ate our mediocre Chinese food I ran into someone in the elevator who said "OH! We always order from Applebees across the street. At least you know what you are getting there!" The hotel was fine. The beds are comfy and the room is clean. But between the bad food suggestion(and reality) and the lack of a table, it was not the most enjoyable evening

This was the first time we traveled with my almost six month old daughter because of the pandemic. It was wonderful to know we had a place to go where we didn't have to worry. The team at the Hampton Inn Chicopee has consistently exceeded our expectations and did it again allowing us to visit with family for the weekend. We can't thank you all enough for everything that you do to make us feel so comfortable.

The Hampton Inn Chicopee provides consistently great customer service and wonderful value for a business traveler. The staff to a man and woman are always friendly and helpful. Rooms are big, pillows are soft, and everything is clean. Well run operation.

In town with friends for a Slayer show. Highly recommend this hotel. Ample parking, painless check-in, polite staff and well stocked coffee in the lobby!
Room was clean, amenities worked well, and it was QUIET! Great location, many restaurants and establishments nearby and close to interstate. Highly recommended.
Only reason I don’t give 5 stars is the room was kind of small, and lights were a little dim. Certainly nothing that’d stop me from returning.

We are a half hour away from UMass. Several people stay here who are going to UMass. We do not have a restaurant on site however we have numerous restaurants very close and some within walking distance. Thank you and we hope you choose to stay with us.
I'm not sure if the hotel reads these reviews I would definitely call the hotel & see if someone can answer that question, maybe they could give you an email for management if no one there knows.
Thank you for your question. Although we don't have a preset amenity menu, we could do something nice for their arrival. For example, we have the "single serving" bottles of wine (187ml) and we always have fresh fruit. We could do a bottle or two of wine with an apple, a banana, an orange and a few small peppermint patties in a basket w/tissue paper and a note from you. Or wine and a couple of chocolate bars, bag of peanuts and a bag of chips or doritos or cheezits...whatever they may like. Please let me know if this is the type of thing you would like to do.
