My sister and I decided to make a last minute trip to the Cape. Rooms were sold out acoss the Cape, our options were limited but somehow we lucked out with the last available room at the Candleberry Inn. Perfect location in Brewster with walking access to the beach and close to the Brewster General Store.

Marco and Angelo have thought through every little detail, especially in the time of covid. Ice was available in individual ziplock bags, delicious afternoon treats individually packed for each room, a printed list of area restaurants with important details like who was doing takeout, outside dining, etc. Even the tv remote was wrapped in its own plastic wrapper. They had beach towels available for guests. We also borrowed beach chairs that were sanitized after each use. Every possible detail was meticulously thought out.

The grounds are beautiful. We sat in the adirondack chairs with glasses of wine, watching the fireflies dance around the yard. The bed had THE best sheets. The room was impeccably clean. A scrumptious breakfast was served on a gorgeous patio.

I can’t say enough about how impressed we were. The only downside was we stayed for 1 night. I highly recommend the Candleberry Inn and recommend that you stay longer. You’ll be so glad that you did.

We enjoyed our two night stay and would highly recommend for so many reasons. It is a historic building, neatly renovated and so clean. Social distancing measures were in place but we were made to feel welcome and safe. Location was accessible yet private and within walking distance to the beach and nearby restaurants. There was plenty of parking. The room was nicely furnished with quality towels and bed linens. Water was available for the room and fresh baked treats were provided daily. Breakfast was delicious and served on the patio overlooking the garden. Our hosts Marco and Angelo and the staff were so nice and attentive. Their impeccable attention to detail did not go unnoticed and certainly exceeded our expectations!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Candleberry Inn for three nights. The inn is located in Brewster, which is a beautiful town on the quiet side of mid-Cape Cod. Our room, the grounds, as well as the breakfast and afternoon treats, were all incredible. The owners of the inn, Angelo and Marco provided amenities and comfort while following safety measures to minimize any risks due to COVID 19. The gardens, hydrangeas, fireflies, and humming birds gracing the grounds were a magical backdrop for our vacation. Breakwater Beach, Brewster Scoops, Brewster General Store, Brewster Inn and Chowder House Restaurant are all within a short walk from the inn and you can have a full enjoyable day without driving at all. It is a short drive to Chatham with many restaurants, shops, and boat trips out of the harbor. My husband and I have stayed at many inns and this inn is exceptional. We highly recommend Candleberry Inn for its location, historic charm, and the hospitality provided by the inn keepers. We thoroughly enjoyed our three days and look forward to a future stay at this wonderful inn.

I can't say enough good things about my experience here at the Candleberry Inn. The hosts have an amazing attention to detail and an insight to each individual's needs. They give space but were immediately available if needed. Besides the comfort of the Inn itself, ( my room was comfortable, bright, airy, and cheerful) the breakfasts are amazing and creative, something you would expect from a Michelin rated restaurant. This applies to the the afternoon snacks as well! Given this was their first weekend open due to the delay of covid, and with restrictions, they had all safety measures covered: everything you could thing of and then some. I felt at complete ease with following the new safety guidelines. There were designated places to return beach chairs and towels for sanitizing, there was hand sanitizer readily available throughout the inn, well marked and easy to read and follow signs about the restrictions, etc The breakfasts were served out doors and tables were the appropriate distance apart. I was nervous about traveling in the new opening, but my concerns dissipated immediately because of how well Marco and Angelo run their Inn.

New Yorkers Architect Angelo and his partner Marco are the creative and hospitable hosts of the this lovely and newly refurbished Bed and Breakfast with Carriage House. Welcomed by freshly baked treats personally dedicated to each guest, the beautifully appointed rooms boast comfortable beds, elegant showers and crisp bed linen inviting the wary traveler to a restful stay. We especially enjoyed the fresh selection of fruit followed by sweet and savory main courses carefully chosen according to season on the patio overlooking the lush gardens of the property.

This was our second stay and we made sure to bring home some of the inn’s merchandise selection to tide us over until we return next year!

And, if you happen to fancy orange zest with dark chocolate, best to call ahead for a sample!

Delicieux!

Janine & Joe

We were going a little stir crazy from quarantine and needed a change of scenery for a few days. Candleberry Inn was the only place that we would trust away from home during this pandemic, as the rooms are spotless and the attention to detail is impeccable. Once again, they did not disappoint. They went above and beyond to provide a safe and comfortable stay. Marco and Angelo treat their guests like family so we would not expect any less.
The breakfasts and baked treats were awesome as usual, with a few service tweaks for health and safety reasons.

My wife and I stayed at the Candleberry Inn for three days at the end of June 2021. As every review here seems to say, our stay was perfect. We were greeted warmly by Marco, who showed us to our excellently appointed room, and the stress of being two public school teachers during a pandemic evaporated immediately. Marco and Angelo have absolutely thought of everything! From the fully stocked coffee bar to the fresh towels, chairs and umbrellas set out every day for our use, to the sumptuous breakfasts, delicious and artfully presented, to the freshly baked treats left on the table every afternoon with our names hand-printed on the bag, to the gorgeous grounds laid out to provide a peaceful breath of fresh air at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. But here is the thing that stuck out to us the most, and has stayed with us long after we returned home: Marco and Angelo love what they do. It is abundantly clear that their sincere joy comes from serving their guests, delighting them, and making them feel cared for. We didn't feel like customers who paid for an experience; we felt like weary travelers who arrived at a dear friend's house to be welcomed with open arms and treated like royalty. It's not an act. We've traveled all over the world, and know how transactional the hospitality industry can be. This was not that! We are so grateful for the time we had, and there will be no debate about where to stay when we come back to Cape Cod in the future.

The Candleberry Inn is Located in Brewster , an excellent central location to visit Cape Cod.
As soon as you arrive to this B&B you know it will be a very special place. This B&B is nested in a beautiful garden given you the sensation of peace and tranquility.
You will be greeted by Marco and Angelo and immediately you will feel at home.
Whether the property entrance , the cozy living room, the dining room, the patio and , of course, the bedrooms you will notice countless tasteful and practical details to make you feel comfortably welcome.
You will be informed about all the amenities and your hosts will answer all your questions and make you feel you are truly in the best Inn you could have chosen.
Breakfast in the patio is wonderful. You will have the beautiful view of the manicured garden and Angelo will cook for you a delicious breakfast from the many recipes he inherited from his mother. The presentation is spectacular and the service superb.
The bedrooms are nicely decorated, respecting the style and period of the property. Linens and towels are of the best quality. The rooms are cozy with a very silent A/C . We had a corner room with views to the front and lateral garden.
If you are new to the area , your hosts will graciously let you know the best places to visit and give you recommendations for restaurants and cafes., art galleries, bike rentals , ferry time tables and much more. Even if you have been in the Cape before, Marco and Angelo will give you tips about options you probably did not know about .
Yes, The Candleberry Inn is a Jewel in Cape Cod!

This past weekend my husband and I spent two nights at the Candleberry Inn in Brewster to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was our second stay at this beautiful B&B, centrally located to many sites, including beaches, walking trails, the bike trail, and Nickerson State Park. Marco and Angelo, the owners, are wonderful hosts, serving gourmet breakfasts and afternoon baked goods. Every need is considered and planned for in advance. They are thoughtful hosts who personalize welcome letters to guests and have candy, sparkling wine, and carafes of water in each room. This is the only place we considered going to during COVID because we knew that Marco, Angelo, and the housekeeping staff take cleanliness serious, even during “normal” times. They arranged staggered breakfast times and offered in-door and outdoor dining options to accommodate for social distancing regulations. We are already planning our return trip next fall.

After digesting the photos of the Inn's offerings, I knew we would be in for a treat if we booked within the Carriage House. There are other rooms within the Carriage House and main building as well. One of the Owners, Marco warmly welcomed us to the Inn providing an introduction.

After settling inn, we explored our room and were delighted to find the private patio beyond the double French doors off of the bedroom. The private bath was found to be extremely generous in size and very well equipped with many spare, thick thirsty towels of all sizes.

At breakfast time, we experienced the culinary skills of Marco's partner and co-owner, Angelo, who prepared a sumptuous 3 course dishes. Juice of several varieties was offered as well as an endless pot of coffee. It must be pointed out that a different hot breakfast fare was presented to us every morning, Our hosts did not hesitate to take the time to chat with us each morning, a nice touch indeed.

Every evening, Angelo prepares a surprise bakery treat, packaged within a neat "gift" bag with the guests names shown on the bag. We simply pick up our bag and enjoy Angelo's creation that evening with a beverage.

Our hosts, Marco and Angelo, including their wonderful breakfast staff, created a seamless atmosphere which made us feel welcomed and comfortable during our entire stay. The Candleberry Inn is certainly recommended as a Go-To destination should your travels bring you to Brewster Mass or to the surrounding area!
