We had a large king size room with a mirowave and refrigerator. It smelled fresh and clean when we arrived. The bed was very comfortable and we sept great. The walls have to be pretty thick because the hotel was full and we never heard the people beside us or above us. The staff at check in and out was quick and friendly. On top of all that it is pet friendly and they don't charge deposits or extra fees. When I come to visit my daughter, this is where I am staying from now on.
My driver's license tecnically expifed in Augusg, but because of COVID, is valid until 30 days after the state of emergency is lifted; I have an official MVA letter to that effect. Desk clerk said she would "accept it this time, but next time . . ." and argued with me about whether the state of emergency has been lifted, since MVA opened by appointment only in June. She refused to look at the letter. The emergency order has not, in fact, been lifted. Furthermore, just because she was able to renew her license does not mean that I can. I thanked her but said I would still report the business to the Governor's office; whereupon she immddiately canceled my reservation, leaving me without a place for the night and forcing me to cancel two business meetings at the last minute. I still have not heard from Red Roof's management. This is my second experience with this facility. The first time they checked me(with my same license) into a room that hadn't even been cleaned. Red Roof inn (Laurel) MD was great for staying and getting a good nights rest after a hard day work. I Would recommend this to all my friends and family who are trying to get some rest also a peace of mind. Thanks.
The staff and cleaning of the rooms was remarkable. If you want a great deal for a most affordable price, pay this place a visit. This place is located right next to major highways leading into DC and close BWI Airport. Great deal pay them a visit!!
Charged 50 dollars for the weekend. I didn't recieve my 50 dollars back and I called the manager. She said that I won't recieve the refund because there was smoking in the room. I told her I don't smoke at all. I was there for travel for work at a non smoking hospital so I am not permitted to smoke. I requested the first floor and I got the second, I was told service cannot always be provided. I booked t his room 4 days in advance to make sure I got the first floor. I was a regular here, do not believe I will be returning, other hotels that I can schedule with.
