Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly! The hotel is nice it’s self was enough. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The room itself was on the small side but it was just 3 of us. Might be to small for a larger family. It had a small refrigerator so don’t buy a ton of groceries at once. Small stove and an oven as well. Each room had a TV with the regular channels but you could log into your own Netflix or HBO Go. The furniture is extremely outdated and very worn. I think it’s time for upgrades! Because of COVID we did not get daily house keeping but they were happy to bring anything we called and asked for. Finally you could hear traffic from the highway and surrounding area which was only mildly irritating because I’m a light sleeper. They have an outdoor pool which of course was closed because it’s January! …
This hotel only got a 1 because zero was not available. I had to change rooms 3 times and even the 3rd time was bad. My third room, was an upgrade to a suite. Translation a larger crappier room! Oh, and did I mention I had to go to the lobby every time to get new keys. And that I had a full fridge that I had to pack and unpack for each move! I didn't find out until the next day that dishwasher didn't work, but I was not moving AGAIN!!! The door to the bathroom and bedroom had some purple looking gook smudges, the ottoman was filthy and and crusty. A pillow on the chair in the front sitting room looked like it had been outside it was dirty and stained. I got towels to put on furniture. Marriott I suggest you take a look at what your name is associated with! THIS PLACE IS A DUMP!!! Frayed, filthy furniture, appliances in disrepair and the cleanliness was also subpar. I was given 1/2 off the first night and charged more than what I actually was charged online when I booked. Will attempt to see it they will correct it. SO, much more to type, but I won't. At least the woman who kept trying to find me a room was kind and pleasant.…
Simply put...This hotel is disgusting. It should be a roadside motel rented out by the hour, not a Marriott of any level. We booked a 2 bedroom suite and are lifetime platinum members; this is the worst Marriott I’ve ever seen. The carpet, bedding, furniture, kitchen, bathroom, everything is nasty. There was dried THROW UP on the side of the bed in one of the bedrooms. I found a bottle of nail polish next to the TV. There was confetti on the ground and tape on the ceiling and wall, likely from a birthday party. The room was definitely not cleaned to the most basic of standards. Two of the 3 TVs didn’t work. Internet was spotty. There were hairs and dirt all in the bathroom. There was an obvious missing art frame in the living room. The furniture had water stains and tons of scratches/chips. The bathroom vent has mold in it. This place should be a complete tear down and rebuild. Obviously we left upon discovery of the throw up. In addition, the staff is rude. The desk clerk hung up on me twice when I called from my room. So I went down stairs for something that could have been resolved with just 30 seconds on the phone. She (Simmone) said she needed to finish her person call with Johnny Boy (very odd and rude to say the least). What if it was an emergency!! The only upside to this disastrous place is the cute towel animal and the fact they have games you can use like Guess Who (my son was excited). However I value my health and requested my advanced payment and stay be canceled. We left and stayed at an amazing waterfront property in Annapolis. Although smaller and very pricey, it was immaculately clean and smelled amazing. Location isn’t always everything and the pictures on the website aren’t always recent; lesson learned. Stay away if you value your health. Even during a world pandemic, the commitment of providing a clean environment for hotel guests is severely lacking at this location, contrary to the sign posted in the lobby. …
This was probably the worst Marriott property I’ve ever stay in and I’m a business traveler who’s loyalty is with Marriott. The kitchen was dirty and the whole room smelled of bacon. It seemed like someone went in the room, made bacon and left 5 minutes before we checked in. The one bedroom carpet was wet, the other bedroom still had rose petals on the floor from someone else’s stay! Not enough towels, no bath mat, I could go on. The room itself was so poorly repaired with horrible dry wall patches and paint mismatches. Rotting wood in the bathroom. Just horrible.
This place is horrible. Our company moved us from the Townplace Suites in Linthicum Heights because of all the drug dealers in the hotel. I had roaches in my room and they don't give you your bonvoy points even after giving them my number several times. This place is really outdated and needs a complete overhaul.
