I stayed in cabin 18 with my family - 2 bedroom with a full bed in each room. This is such a great place for kids because they have plenty of room to play safely away from the road. After driving through OOB I am so glad we picked this place. It is definitely the best cottages I saw around town. It is away from the noisy and windy beach but close enough to drive and enjoy everything near the pier and beach. The cabins are updated and very clean. You can tell that the owners really take good care of the place and even with 20 cottages it's still really quiet. There are all the amenities you would need for a long stay and everything is really close including a Hannaford and 2 restaurants you can walk to. My only recommendations would be to heat the pool and maybe have bunk beds in one of the bedrooms to better accommodate families.

First of all, from the moment Ray greeted us, it was clear that he was Covid-conscious and we liked that. The unit was very clean and had clearly been revamped. It had a little sitting room and kitchenette with dishes, silverware and even wine glasses. Guests could use the gas grills and there is both a little table inside and a picnic table outside. There are gas burners, a fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker (would have been nice to have some packets of coffee/tea in the room). It's not on the beach but the pier is a short car ride away. I would definitely stay here again.

Just back from a weeks vacation at Elmwood Motor Court. When I say from start to finish our family had the best time! The cottage we stayed in was sparkling clean and exactly as described on the website. There was so much for us to do on site and the owners and staff could not have been nicer or more helpful giving us recommendations on things to do and places to eat. We all can't wait to go back again!

Excellent little cabin, terrifically clean. looked like it was newly renovated ,painted. BBQ grill outside was brand new. Nice reception. Cabins are small so would not recommend for more that 2 adults. good location with restaurants next door and across the street which was good after long days drive. A lot of electric outlets for charging and wifi worked fine.

Clean, quiet personel are great willing to help. The owner has upgraded the game room. There are BBQQ. Close to town and grocery stores\ pharmacy. Definitely will return. Nice clean pool. Screen porches on every cabin. Coffee available in the morning.

First Time here it's nice ,clean two bedroom and a dining area .has a full size fridge,coffee maker and microwave but most importantly it was CLEAN also has a little screened in porch plenty of free parking 🅿️ . It has a campground feel to it pool area was also clean

I have stayed at this place twice, and will be returning again this summer. It is far from fancy and modern, however it is clean and is convenient. It is located on Saco Ave. and is only a 4-5 minute drive to the beach, where you can pay to park or if you prefer to stay in the quieter area you can park on a residential street. There is a supermarket near by (Hannaford) as well as many dining options. I had a small cottage for 2 people. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a living area with a sofa bed. They had cable TV, no AC, Microwave, fridge, 2 burner stove, kitchen utensils (which could have been cleaned a litle more thorougly), there is a pool, arcade room, gas grills, lawn swings and a fire pit. The staff was helpful (even when we needed a boost for our car battery!) In fact, one day we found some ants were getting into our cabin through a window and when we told them they were quick to provide us with spray and various things to nip the problem in the bud. The furnishings are definitely outdated, and the cabins can get a little musty, but it's a great cheap place to stay for anyone of any age group. My least favourite thing was the bathroom....it's very small. Overall, if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in a convenient location then Elmwood might be a good option for you. Just don't go there expecting the Ritz Carlton...it's very basic. Hope that helps!!

We stayed at the Elmwood Motor Court Aug 19-26, 2012 and enjoyed ourselves so much we will definately be returning next year for sure. We travelled with our 2 children and stayed in a cottage that had 2 bedrooms, it was a perfect fit for us. The property itself is well maintained. With a pool and playground area for the kids. All of the cottages appear to have been recently renovated and freshly painted with new windows. The fixtures inside the cottage appear to be fairly new. Gas stove top, microwave, coffee maker a full size fridge and all the utensils, plates and pots you will need for your stay are provided. There is air conditioning and wifi in all units. Also a nice screened in porch to sit in at night...just awesome There are also about 9 or 10 gas bbq's throughout the property available for anyone to use.
This property was about a 5-7 min drive to the beach. We did not use the trolley that runs throughout old orchard beach, but intend to next year. There is a hannafords grocery store located in saco which was a 5 mins drive. Also a little ceasars pizza($5 pizzas) and all sorts of fast food places. Walmart, Target, tj maxx, kohls etc located in Biddeford which was about a 10 min drive. The seafood restaurant across the street -"captains galley" was great. We got a 2 lobster dinner with a salad and side order for $19.99, not coming from a coastal canadian province...that price is unheard of ahahaha. My kids (4&7) split a lobster dinner.
We will be returning next year. Cant' beat the price for the qualtiy of the amenities you receive. We did not have much of an opportunity to interact with the owners or staff...what little we did, they all seemed very nice.

Accused my nephew of throwing paddles at some kids. Mind you he was sick all night and went to bed as soon as we arrived and did not wake up till the next day at 11am! So it wasn't him! We have been going there for years! Just ruined our vacation! We will NEVER come back! You just lost a family who rents 6 cabins at least 5 times a year!!!!

The Elmwood is inexpensive, well placed, comfortable, clean and feels very, very safe. We swam in the pool and enjoyed shuffleboard on site. The staff were great and the grounds very well maintained. I have no complaints and would definitely stay there again. Old Orchard beach is really a wonderful place to visit.
