Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We stayed 1 night as a family. The location of the hotel is the biggest perk, you are right across the street from the roller coaster. That being said, it is super loud. I wouldn't recommended staying here with children who need it silent to sleep. Parking is AWFUL. The parking spaces are based off of hotel rooms but no one pays attention. We checked in on a Friday at check in and there was only 1 spot free. The rooms were ok, beds were mediocre, pillows god awful(bring your own). The pool was very small and not heated but its summer that's ok. Pool area is not taken care of it was littered with trash both days we went. I probably wouldn't stay here again unless nothing else was available. Hotel offers "free wifi" that did not work the whole time we were there. We've stayed in 4 hotels now in OOB and have found much more comfortable rooms else where.

I was due to check in on a Thursday night. I was called midday Thursday to be advised that my room was ready and that the office closes at 5pm. However, I work and was not able to arrive until after hours. That was fine, my key and parking pass were left for me. When we arrived, the floor was a bit dirty so we had to always have something on our feet. The room was decent size. The bathroom door did not close, the walls were paper thin, and there were bugs in the bathroom. There was no Wi-Fi available in our room. When mentioned at the front desk I was told maintenance would check on it. And nothing. One morning waking up, we found bugs in both beds. I complained to the front desk. Someone came down to check the room and said they could be “sand fleas” which wasn’t a good feeling. We were told they would change all of our sheets. That was at 9am. So we left to go to the beach and removed our stuff (covid precautions) and didn’t return until after 2pm. The room was still not cleaned. I called and questioned it and was told the maid service would be reminded to come to my room. So I left again to give them time to clean. I returned around 5pm to my room still not touched. There was now someone different at the front desk and when I questioned it, he had no idea that my room was supposed to be cleaned due to the bugs found in my bed. The one cleaner who was there all day, finally got to my room. I left for dinner to let her be in private. Thanks to her (unsure of her name) my room was finally taken care of. I felt very uncomfortable being in the room after finding bugs in my bed. We checked out first thing the following morning. It was not a pleasant stay and i will never return to that location. I appreciate the help from the one house keeper who had clearly been overworked.

This motel is in a great location for getting to Old Orchard Pier area and you can get a view of the ocean depending on your room location. The rooms were renovated and fairly nice with comfortable beds, however I noticed some lacking in the little things. We had a kitchenette with stove, sink and full size refrigerator, but there were only a few plates and cups, no silverware, cooking utensils, or pans which basically means the kitchenette is useless. The bathroom only had one small rack to put a towel on, no hooks on the doors so we had to put towels over the chairs to dry. We asked for the second floor thinking we could sit on the deck and people watch or see the beach. The deck was in such poor shape, I was a little nervous even walking on it. There were no chairs on the second floor balcony probably because it is too small. We went to enjoy the pool and it was in very poor shape. The tiles on the pool deck were broken and moving under my feet and the ladder where you climb out of the pool had some broken concrete and moved while i was climbing out-I thought it was going to break. They must have been very budget conscious when they did the renovation because they should have included the upper deck and the pool. For $260 per night, I would have expected more.

When my wife checked into the room for a two night stay the ac unit was blowing warm air. It had mold in it. Food near the microwave and on the floor. The sheets were dirty. The toilet paper holder was loose. The pool was padlocked closed. They offered a one night refund which she of course declined. She will be going to the Health Department, BBB and Chamber of Commerce. STAY AWAY from this place!! Not healthy!!!

onna let the pictures do the talking bruh. Feet were black just from walking on the floor. Ants everywhere. Hair and eyelashes on my pillowcases. I asked for a refund because they gave us a parking pass for a room when we got there but were told to wait because even though it was past checkout time,the people were still parked and in the room..we sat and waited for an hour parked in someone elses alot, in the meantime I had asked if the people in our room left yet at least and was told they were " trying to get ahold of them"..when I checked back again within a little while after being made to wait outside the hotel, the lady in the office said we were never booked for that room. So I asked why I have a parking pass for that room number and was given wrong information, she started screaming at me and I said screw this, refund my card and we wont stay here. She denied me..Defeated, I reconciled to stay. But then we get into the actual room..GROTEY... never again. Hospitality and cleanliness dont exist here. Also when we went up on the "lounge" there were nasty used styrofoam bowls from cereal (?) and a huge mess around the coffee area.

Good location. That's it ! Musty smelling. Jets in tub were gross. Stayed only 2 days-didn't use tub. Grout in bathroom needs cleaning. Stayed in town area as much as possible. Beds not comfortable. Sheet had a mark that seemed to be dried up glue on it. Had to slide out frig. to use outlet behind for changing plugs. This outlet is loose from everyone having to pull out one appliance to plug in another. Had to take flower vase & coffee maker off dresser to have a place to put luggage etc. Have stayed in many places during our traveling years and this was by far one of the worst.

Stayed recently for 4 nites in conjunction with Ironman event. Try your best to avoid this Motel. Very seedy and I never felt clean. No window shade in bathroom window . Train tracks on one side and HUGE Amusenent right outside my door. Sand on my feet all the time when walking barefoot in room and I never went to beach. And to add insult to I jury they did not provide cable t.v. After asking around it appears most other properties do. 4 notes with taxes about $925.

I stay here every year as it's a girls getaway. We stay the same week every year. We did have a problem last Aug 2020 with a group of ladies that stay there as a reunion every year. They made so much noise after hours. We called the front desk and they must have called them to let them know and had to have given our room number because after that call they went out of our way to stand outside our room and and made more noise. They even stood in front of our room with a bull horn and kept blowing it. Now I'm talking 11 -12 o'clock at night. They are there every year and have been having this get together for 25 years but it's the only time we had problems. We are staying there again this year but if we have the problem again it will be our last. Other than that if the perfect location, walk across the street for the beach and right near the pier. We don't find a problem with the rollercoaster across the street as it shuts down around 10 pm.

Much better motels nearby for the same price. Paper thin walls so you have to listen to your neighbors. Quiet hours not enforced. Only thing that’s nice is the location but the train shakes the room and is so loud. Had little interaction with staff but they didn’t seem to be concerned with customers. There’s much better motels to stay at in the area for the money, I think this is best left alone unless every other motel is booked, which does happen.

Very convenient motel with ocean view, close to Old Orchard Beach center. There’s nothing fancy about it but it was clean, accessible and the staff was friendly. The walls are thin, you can basically hear everything the neighbors say and since it’s on the main strip you hear all of the road noise and amusement park noice. Which didn’t bother me, it may just be worth bringing earplugs for sleeping. Will def stay here again for the price.
