We love going to the Crest Motel. We go summer and Fall as a rule. Ask & you receive help from this family owned and run business, Two generations are working to make your stay perfect. They also offer special off high season rates and have different types of units to meet everyone’s needs.

We love this place and have been coming here for years!!!. It is a short walk to the beach. The pool is a gem and nice retreat from the midday sun. The location is close to the center of town and Play land. Popcorn and treats available in the office for the kids is nice. We love the grills and playground for family lobster/steak dinners. The owner and staff bends over backwards to accommodate you. You can rent beach chairs for $3/day. We can't wait to come back as we look so forward to it every year!!!

This is our favorite beach getaway; we have been coming here for years. For a great price you get to stay right on the beach, have access to a pool and hot tub, and are within walking distance of the pier, which is hopping during the season. The owners and staff are incredibly nice and helpful. I have read the reviews criticizing OOB for being run down…yeah, it’s a kitschy beach town geared towards family fun. If you want luxury go elsewhere and pay triple the price.

The crest is a great place to stay! The owner and his family are very friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. The indoor swimming pool and hot tub is wonderful if you have children as they can still get their energy out if you have a rainy day. They have a wonderful playground for the kids and BBQ grills outside if you want to make your own meals. The rooms are very clean and the motel is right on the beach. We usually stay a couple of times a year and this is my go to place as it always feels like a home away from home.

My husband & I visited Portland and stopped into Old Orchard Beach for lunch and decided to stay a couple of nights. The Crest Motel was such a wonderful little find last minute. We got an ocean view room, it was clean and the staff were so nice and welcoming. It was walking distance to the Pier and to many restaurants and shops. I don't have anything negative to say about this place! We would definitely recommend!

Wonderful place to stay! Very clean! Very comfortable! Very convenient! The owner Paul and all the staff are wonderful. Even the other guests were lovely! I needed a place that was in the beach so I could just role out of bed and watch the sunrise...and that’s what I did! The pool was an added plus and the rooms had lots of space and areas to work and study. I highly recommend The Crest for families, a couples getaway, or even just for some alone time!

Amazing weekend at the Crest Motel! Room was exceptionally clean with an incredible view! No one had booked the room the night before so we were allowed to check in early which was great. Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The Motel is so close to the beach that the only thing between our room and the sand was their private parking spaces. Followed the path right to the ocean's edge. So very pleased with the lodging, service and location. Close to everything yet still in a quiet area. Couldn't have asked for more. I will certainly stay at the Crest Motel again and again and again!

My family and I stayed 3 nights and left wishing we had booked more. The location is amazing with just a short walk to restaurants, shopping and an amusement park. The beautiful beach is just a few steps away. The staff is very down to earth, friendly and accommodating. Definitely a great place for families.This was our second visit and I’m already looking forward to next year.

This is the BEST place to stay in OOB. Very clean and friendly owner and staff. This place has it all …..gas grills playground for kids pool hot tub….all right on the beach block. I would not stay anywhere else!!

The room was clean and spacious and the AC, TV and internet worked well. The bathroom was adequate. Sean and Paul are friendly and accommodating hosts. Free coffee and popcorn in the lobby were a nice touch. It is a good location right on the beach, close to the Pier. There is a nice covered pool and hot tub area. (I didn't use it but other people did and it looked great.) I would definitely stay there again.
