Zulu Nyala Country Manor is ideally situated within close proximity to facilities, shops and Lanseria Airport.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our Suite was extremely spacious with a private balcony, huge bathroom and great views of the beautiful surrounding areas and gardens.

The staff were friendly and the cuisine was superb. Lovely dining and lounge areas situated in a warm and tranquil environment.

Great outdoor venues | space and activities catering to leisure and corporate guests.

Special Thanks to Keshan for hosting us and I highly recommend this wonderful property to all travellers.

I've been staying at this hotel for seven years. I'm a pilot and whenever I end up at Lanseria Airport (about fifteen minutes away) I always stay here.

I'm away quite a lot and I stay in a lot of (very nice, but mainly generic) hotels - all around the world, but this is one of the very few at which I genuinely relax.

The staff are super friendly and the owners love animals, so they keep zebra, alpacas, donkeys and horses. There are also an assortment of very friendly dogs that wander around the grounds.

I can't recommend this place highly enough and keep meaning to come here for an actual holiday one day.

Zulu Nyala Country Manor was lovely. The room was large with a fabulous balcony and a soaking tub. The staff was friendly & helpful about things to do & places to eat. The grounds are beautifully maintained. They picked us up from the airport so we didn't have to worry about getting around. Our guide, Elias< was full of knowledge & made it very clear that he would answer any questions we had.

We have stayed at Zulu Nyala for two nights at the beginning of a 3-week tour of South Africa. It was a very pleasant stay and a great start of the trip.
Our room was tastefully decorated and included a large bathroom. Meals were very delicious. They took our preferences into account and also we received packed breakfast for our last morning. Dinners were excellent, the butternut soup was the best we ever tasted. The chef and other members of the staff were very friendly. At the time of our visit there were not many other guests due to Covid, but the manager and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
We enjoyed walking the large premises and having first wildlife encounters - they have zebras, different antilope species and many beautiful birds, in addition to the donkeys.
We look forward to another stay at Zulu Nyala on our next trip to South Africa.

We loved our stay there. The accommodations and staff were amazing. We got to experience a taste of the game drive by seeing the Zebras, Impalas and Nyalas in the premise.

They went above the call of duty to take care of our needs. The owner Bella, treated us a an amazing lunch outside as she was hosting a few friends and invited us for this amazing BBQ! We would stay there again if we find ourselves in South Africa!

They picked us up from the airport and prepared us for our week stay at Zulu Nyala Game Lodge! Great place to stay to recover from a long flight. Joe and Donna Hobbs

I was bitten by a pack of dogs on the property. I waited at a hospital for many hours. The general manager Vinodh avoided me throughout my stay and made no effort to contact me. When I contacted him he was arrogant and rude. He has also made false accusations against me. I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism. However the driver and reception were friendly and helpful to me. I have been left with a bad taste from this place. To not only be bitten on their property but to also be insulted by the general manager Vinodh. I am sad to say he should not be working at a 4 star lodge with such immature behaviour. I was accused of creating a scene at the hospital and also speaking to the owners daughter about the issue. Both of these accusations are 100% false and I will undoubtedly swear by this. Someone at the lodge is a liar and needs to be held to account. I have not had such an experience before. On my check out, on my way to reception the dogs were running about and not locked up to my surprise they take no care for their guests

We spent 2 nites at country manor. Beautiful grounds. Had several acres with zebras, spring bok, a pond with geese. Exceeded my expectations. Food was excellent. Staff very nice and helpful. The rooms were lovely and large. Everything was so beautiful there. We took two side trips handled by manor. Our guide was excellent. Went to elephant preserve and loin safari. Both were. Exceptional. I would love to say there again

This hotel was a fantastic find. In a town that can be very frightening to the foreigner the Zulu Nyala was a sanctuary in every way. Set in lush grounds you can wander at will looking at the Zebras , birds and Sprinbok, are single storey thatched african style accommodation. Spacious and comfortable the rooms have all a traveller needs. But the higlight of the hotel is the service: in a warm and friendly way the staff cannot do enough for you; and will help out in any way they can. This friendliness infects guests, and warm evenings can be spent on the terrace talking with a range of fascinating people. More than an hotel, this was am African home from home I would highly recommend it to anyone- if you stay in town at a 'modern' hotel you will miss out.

Hi... For all of my questions while planner our trip, I wrote to Reshmi Bahadur, who, with four other people, answers all questionsclike yours, quickly and honestly. I have now forgotten why we didn’t fly to Richards Bay, rather than Durban, but I would email Reshmi and ask her. It may have to do with the frequency of pick-up shuttles from there. If you can, I highly recommend a side trip before or after the game reserve, to Victoria Falls in ZimbBwe! Excursions we enjoyed... riding an elephant in Zambia, helicopter ride over Victoria Falls, boat ride in St. lucia. . .

As the others have stated, the best thing is to email them with the details of your flight and the estimated time of arrival. They will wait for you even if there is any kind of delay at passport control...

There was no iron in the room, and as we did not need one we did not ask for one )) Everyone dressed very casually anyway, and the nights went rather chilly, so you wrap up to keep warm :-)

We were there in July, and to be honest, I did not have any desire to go into any pools. You have to remember that July in South Africa is January in the northern hemisphere. However, you can enjoy the sun during the day, but it goes rather cold at night, as soon as the sun is down.
