Intle Game Lodge tranquil views of the Baviaanskloof mountain range and views of the Indian Ocean overlooking Jeffrey's Bay, is a beautiful piece of heaven 45 min from Port Elizabeth Airport (PLZ) and just before the famous surfing town Jeffrey's Bay and is also en-route to the famous Garden Route and Route 62 down to Cape Town. We have a restaurant & fully licensed bar on site as well activities such as game drives, bush picnics, clay pigeon shooting, mountain bike trails, hiking trails & more. There are many day trips that can be done from our lodge to discover the immediate area and our guests stay on average 3-4 days with us on the way down to Cape Town and then again 2 - 3 days on their return before flying out of Port Elizabeth. We are a luxury owner run lodge where even the most discerning guest will be satisfied. All inclusive packages can be arranged by contacting us directly.

Value for money, you will never regret your stay! The food was delicious. The view is to die for, and it is very calm and peaceful. The staff are so welcoming and very patient and helpful. I am definitely going back.

After we were deeply disappointed from Jeffreys Bay, which has had its time, we felled so lucky to found this hidden Gem. WOW, what a lovely place! Situated in this beautiful nature on Garden Route near Gamstoos River with great food and perfect service. We enjoyed the game drive and saw giraffes, zebras, antelopes, gnus, … We will try to come here again!

This was a good find. It was very comfortable, the duvets a dream. The staff were really first class, well trained, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The menus were imaginative and food and presentation 5*. The game ranger was knowledgable and patient. We enjoyed the massage in the Spa too.

I enjoyed my stay with my family,everyone was friendly,food was good,rooms were warm,the view is amazing,but you need to improve on cleaning I won't go into details about that,nonetheless I'm coming back.

We stayed 1 night here on a Garden Route stopover and regretted not staying longer. The hotel has a chic Eames style design, a nice change from the more colonial Dutch styled places we’d stayed in. We were out of season so pretty much the only guests there but the service and food was still excellent. Another reason we wished we had stayed longer was the tranquil views and walks that stretch for miles. Off the normal Garden Route track but well worth the diversion.

What a treat... this is a must visit in the Eastern Cape! Such a lovely location and a perfect getaway from the city. A special mention goes to the amazing staff who go above a beyond for all their guests. You will feel so special from the time you drive down just entering the space. I want to highlight Kaelisia, Augie.Megs, Bullie and Mussa the amazing chief ! You guys offer a world class experience keep it up and God bless you all and this establishment.

The views are amazing! However, the hotel itself is not up to 5-star standards. The towels were dirty and stained, even after we brought it under the reception's attention the replaced towels were also stained. This is not what you expect from a 5-star luxury hotel. We received cleaner towels at a 3-star guesthouse in a small town where we stayed overnight on our way to Port Elizabeth. On our first night the guests in the room next door were talking extremely loud and coughing, clearing their throats and just being noisy until the early hours of the morning. Unfortunately we had no peace and quiet to which we were really looking forward to. The breakfast was delicious although portion sizes were on the smaller side. The staff members were very friendly and helpful but definitely need more training to meet 5-star standards. More attention to small detail needs to be paid. My husband and I don't feel that the experience of staying at Intle was worth the money we paid. …
