Just returned from a week at this wonderful hotel. Fantastic service, entertainment, manicured grounds, and the best pool & beach ever. Having traveled internationally for years, I submit that the upper-end all-inclusive hotels along this Mexican Rivera coast represents the best vacation value in the world. One "suggestion for improvement" to the management: offer your guests an option to pay extra for drinks that are not watered down.

We had the most amazing trip to secrets maroma. This was my third trip (first since covid) and by far this was the most amazing. The staff were all happy to help and always made you feel take care of. The food selection was great. We were preferred and really enjoyed the preferred breakfast at oceana. The drinks were all great. Trying a drink of the day is a must. The entertainment team all does an amazing job with a ton a great activities. Beautiful grounds and beach. The beach is combed every morning at sunrise. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to return later this year.

Amazing hotel and impecable services. We were celebrating my moms 86 bday and we were pampered by all the staff, but specially from Alberto (From Monterrey I. Entertainment) they made our stay an experience to remember. We are allready planning to come back as soon as possible. Location is a paradise, food delicious and a staff that does every thing to serve with excellence!

Well unfortunately for us the Secrets Maroma was not the highlight of our 14 day marriage / honeymoon. We were treated amazing at the Dreams Natura, staff was so attentive and kind. We heard the management staff at the Maroma were rude and thus far they have earned the negative comments. It started off nice, and the GM Jorge Monje politely greeted us. Our travel agent contacted Jorge prior to our arrival to ask the resort specifically to treat us kindly, as her previous group of travelers had been treated badly and rudely by the staff. Jorge acknowledged the service issues stated and asked his Front Desk Manager- Marta Moreno to treat us better then the last persons and to allow us a Honeymoon upgrade. Marta replied to the travel agent stating that she will make the room “one they will love”, implying she would be taking care of the Honeymoon upgrades. Marta decided to give us the standard room, no upgrades, no welcome champagne like the Natura. We waited for our room for 1.5 hours, another request that was ignored by Marta for an expedited check-in which she agreed. Even with the emails showing the arrangements between Marta and Jorge, Marta still wanted to be confrontational and the worst part she stated that the previous arrangements in which she agreed to the upgrade was now “under new management”, and she can’t agree too it now. The email was from March 25th, 2021. So in the last 2 weeks she claims to be under new management and now she won’t do anything. Lesson learned - Dreams Natura is amazing. Marta Moreno should not be employed in any customer service industry. Secrets are supposed to be an upgrade, not a downgrade.

Really, really sorry, it breaks our heart to have upset you, specially when we were wanting to do just the opposite and make you feel really welcome and special. Thanks a lot for letting me know you would be doing this post so early upon arriving at the hotel, I was looking forward to the opportunity to apologize, also publicly, really, really sorry that in spite of you letting me know we were unable to provide the upgrade you were so strongly requesting. I would kindly ask you to check with your travel agent and clarify, I honestly believe there has been a big misunderstanding that may have caused this inconvenience and your frustration, again really sorry you have had to go through this when we were all looking forward to help you had a wonderful honeymoon. I would like to take the advantage of your comment to share with all our guests and agents about our very beautiful honeymoon and master suites, we have a limited number of them and they are usually booked on advance, I would strongly recommend that they are booked previously to our guests arrivals, again very sorry we couldn't provide a free upgrade on this occasion, we have made sure to assign a very beautiful room as per your reservation. With all kindness and due respect I would like to mention Marta and Alejandra, our two beautiful colleagues that have warmly welcomed you home, on their behalf also a sincere apology, really sorry they have not been able to communicate and explain the situation and the exchange of emails, you mentioned, properly, I can assure you that they are two of the nicest, sweetest and most hospitable person I know , really sorry neither them or me have managed to provide a warmer welcome and hospitality. We are all at your service and very happy to assist with anything you may need, please let us know how we can serve you and make your stay better, I'm sure you will enjoy the service and very caring and warm hospitality of our team, you have my phone as well please feel free to call me at all times. Had a great trip here in April! They offered Covid testing in order to return to the US as well. Service was 10/10 and the food was great! There are activities you can participate in throughout the entire day and entertainment every night. Definitely would come back
